| After his death Theren's soul was taken to serve the Raven Queen in the Shadowfell, as with all Shadar-Kai, he abandoned his thoughts of his past life and focused on serving the Raven Queen in her siege of the undead. After many years, Theren's soul was ripped back to the Material Plane against his will and he was brought back as an undead monstrosity.
