Side quests ==== The Big twists SPOILERS==== Arno's Mother and Father hag offers a choice on which one to save. Father is chaoned up while Mother is in a portal somehwete in the underdark. Caligos's true heritage sealed by the lightning mark Razza is not the only Razza a bunch if other Razza in the night hag's domain hooked uo to dream machines being used to power her magic. have masks made of the sleepy poppies flowers like a plauge mask. each is a Razza that has come before seeking to stop the disaster but simply been lead here to replace a dying loxodon, not sure if they are copies of Razza or just Loxodon ==== Current goals standline ==== **Arno** \\ (for your eyes) Arno is of mixed emotions going into the next session. On one hand he is filled determination to see through this journey to assist his companions for this quest, but he is also doubting now the tracking of his mother. He is starting to lose some hope that it was a real calling and was more of fey trickery Also when Arno gave up his shadow to magical floating balloon trio, he's been having this feeling like there's still something tailing him. Still lurking behind him === DM Notes === Arno is current on the hunt for his mother this is his main goal. at the moment he has had very little if no idea or lead to his mother that is about to change nect session. *Arno upon talking a bit with Cinder will notice her braclet is almost identical to the pendant his mother left him. Upon questioning Cinder will explain its a talismen from the Underdark, very rare, it keeps the sickness of the Underdark at bay. though she is confused as to why a Drow would have one. \\ Cinder will say that she had planned to jouney to the underdark but the Hags have trapped her and her husbaned here. she would be willing to take Arno with her if he was to free her of the hags. she even met Arno's mother once before only breifly. **Ken** \\ Hey Sam, just following up your message for character deets. So at this point, Ida has gone through all of the points we discussed for Ken and his transformation back from Keenan. Ken is missing all of his memories from his time as Keenan so he does not really know anyone in the party, but he is curious about them and wants to stay with them to explore the Feywild. At this point I don't really have anything in mind for how I want Ken to go. I'm aiming to play him as super curious, maybe stumbling into stuff he shouldn't. If you have any ideas or thoughts I would be happy to discuss them with you. I want to develop Ken more and play more DnD but am having a bit of trouble finding that inspiration for the next stage. ===DM Note=== Ken's 'freedom' will be short lived, without defeating all the hags his curse hasn't been reversed but merly wound back. with all his memories of Keenan gone his transformation has been reversed. however. \\ He will continue to loose memories until some point where he is otherwise unable to function. remembering things will keep him from degrading but will also resume the transformation, *Key memories, To force a memory roll 3 History checks DC 10((Make higher after first round)), Advantage if someone helps. all three checks need to succeed for one of the memories to be remembered. if failed Ken can try again in 12 hours. *The Withlight Carnival *The original deal he made with the hag that caused all this *the feeling he had when he first realized no one remembered him *remembering how he used to look *memory 5 *Something he shouldn't Know **Razza** \\ Sorry about not responding for dnd. Tbh I wasn't in the last session of the big witch battle. I came at the end of that and found out of sorts of stuff. My character still observing to see what the disaster he dreamt of and how to prevent it or alter it. He was mainly drawn towards Elmer character. Dislike solar character cause he keep on abusing creature in front of him but having a change of heart from his sacrifice and indifferent with the other party members. ===DM Note=== Razza is lacking motivation, His dreams will now start to play a bigger roll in his path giving him guidance to this 'Disaster' he must prevent. however one of the hags will begin to invade his dreams the more he uses them for divination gettiong to the point where he won't be able to sleep and may even cause the other to wake. **Anise** \\ **Caligos**\\ ===DM Note: The Hag Eye=== ==== Next Session ==== The party have finished thier biat race and are now in camp. Kettelsteen will convince the party to follow her to the palace of Vruggbarr. The misty woods is where they will find Anise who has been lost for a few days. the party will make perception checks to make sure Kettelsteen is withing view, DC 8. if they fail they will start to see illutions and be drawn away if the fail another charisma check dc 10. the party will have limited vision and if a party member gets lost they will disapear with only a private dm ==== Next Session Gain ==== If the party leave righjt away they will see the Fairy Dragon returning the the palace overhead. If the party take a bit longer to leave they will run into the farei dragon. \\ Thea farie dragon will tell you that the barrier around Jardins still holds strong and to be carful of the waling woodland. he also mentions it seems the Witchlight Carniival is packing up in a few weeks to travel to a new realm. The party seem to have ted with going North to the Mystery keep. their first hurdle is to get through the wailing woodland. **Wailing Woodland** \\ It will take between 5-12 days to travel through the wailing woodland by foot. The wood takes heavy insperation from the Darkwood game so i plan to lift a few mechanics from the game into DnD. \\ First off sleep. There are a few check point structures within the woods, if the party chose thier guide correctly then they should have no trouble going between each checkpoint as the days roll on. The guide will aim to reach each checkpoint by nightfall. Its written in giant in the basement of his family home buried or something Annabell wants to achieved godhood to become the new frostmaiden or goddess of the storms. She has some knowlage for Caligos. And will forge him a new weapon, promising more if he returns with the frostmaiden’s heart and axe which are aomehqere in the mountains. The party get to keep the axe. The codice if tempestursurrrr is also here, either on the frost maiden’s “corpse” or held by the storm giant mom **Arno Stuff** \\ Arno finds out about underdark stuff from Ozrelia. Tells him she knew his family. She has had many trips into the underdark and has met his tribe. She teaches him about some Drow culture and how to make drow poision. The fey effects she says he needs to retrive his shadow. Arno might get a diffrent shadow by mistake causing more tf. Arno not having a shadow is affecting his body, becoming more fairy like, antenna, bug like wings. More dantey, He will also be told he cannot leave they Feywild without a shadow or the sunlight of the mortal world will destroy him . Arno is beginning to break the oath he made leading to a new power being awakened inside him but something must be given up to fully harness it. Perhaps a patron sees an oppitunity, perhaps Xelor **Ken Stuff** \\ Ozrelia has a relevation with Ken about being his biological mother, and he has many siblings such as Telula, filabean and Aurora, memories he had forgotten but remebering now. The necklace Anise got is the hag eye and they now know their every move and can subetly or majorly affect them at opportunistic moments Velvin is is the cory of glass and ahe will perform divination for a fee, or the ultimate divination withe the deck of many things, Velvin will also have an assistant, the missing changling daughter from grovistide but much older. Change kens i on to the chibi Caligos has armour, two braclets and a necklace to identify. Braclet 1: A braclet of protection offering +2 to ac and saving throws Braclet 2: Grants the wearer True sight for x Time if they are of Fey origins, recharges daily. (Arno and Anise are candidates for this) Necklace: Contains a soul, an odd trinket that can Probally be sold or traded **Other loot** \\ Random loot for last fight Ozrelia is dressed in a wendigo mask with a single blue eye to resemble the hag in an effort to confuse the party. Telula will be unconcious? Perhaps depending on the party she may be up and about to say mother or otherwise not. Her form twists and shifts in the shadows so that each party member sees something diffrent for further confution. If the party fight there is a high probibilitynthey will all die. There will be oppitunity to prevent that, either fleeing or praying for mercy. An Insight check of 21+ and a charisma save of 18+ will reveal to the character innprivate dm that this is an Arrakocra sorr of. \\ Wild shape will cause Ozrewlia to faulter and question if they are druids, depending on thier answer Ozrelia May lessen her hostility **leaving the forrest** \\ If they passifie Ozrelia she will take them to her home where she will reward them For keeping Telula safe, she will offer some lore as well as the Ken stuff. She may devulge about her situation with Anise’s father, but dosent actually know Anise is Xelor’s child. \\ Ozrelia will mention she has a way home for Ken now. She can take him back and remove the curse on him to bring him home. Either way Ozrelia will allow them to leave the forrest that day they have time to reach a small village with an Inn to eat, rest, bathe. Party needs to tend to thier equipment and themselves or penalties will appear . After rest the party can keep going north or head to the city of glass where the witchlight carnival is currently doing a city festival for new ownership
