The Plot Hook
You are in the world of Felwind in the Year (12344-12354). over the past six (6) to twelve (12) months your character has been a junior member of one of the largest international adventuring guilds known as Map Masters Association & Post or M.M.A.P for short. Weather you have recently come of age and looking to make a name for yourself, a veteran looking to De-rust their sword arm, A Scholar looking to gain the opportunity and resources the Guild provides or a prisoner doing community service as part of their parole, willingly or not. You are a new adventurer of M.M.A.P.
Your work while you have been part of the guild has been mostly mundane, learning the ropes of swords and spells, understanding the culture of various nations and of course how to keep the Guild's image intact when working under their insignia.
It seems your work has paid off, or perhaps a higher up has given you a nomination, or you have been too much trouble and are being shipped off. what ever the case you as well as other members of the guild in your same level have been called into action.
Your task? to journey to the old world nation of Uthasil, and set up a new Guild Stronghold to fly M.M.A.P's flag within the Aquila's Wode region.
Your group is to establish and more importantly manage a high quality Stronghold within half a decade (5 years) as well as repair and reinvigorate the nearby town Aqi'Karion which has recently been destroyed by a largely unknown force, Reports say it was a plague, others say it was an un-natural storm, Whatever happened the people remaining are struggling and as the face of the Guild it will be your task to be their hope.
You ship out in just over a week. You have this time to purchase supplies and equipment for your personal inventory as well as tie up any loose ends as you will not be returning to Mor-Thir for at least five (5) years. Your ship sets off from Ferrabreeze, Make sure you are on it.
Its a one way trip, The ship contains many supplies and resources to kickstart your stronghold once you land and the crew onboard are under your command. save one (1) higher up that will act as an advisor as well as a watcher to make sure there are no shenanigans afoot.
The land for the Stronghold has already been cleared and a small makeshift campsite has been established but it is a hovel compared to what you are expected to make. The Town Aqi'Karion is only about a 20minuet walk away however the land here is so untamed and difficult that it easily triples that time, One of your many tasks will be to set or build a road for ease of travel.
Though reports have said something is strange about the location chosen. Sayings of unknown books turning up in camp and visions of serpent scales slithering in the shadows. nothing bad has happened but the visions and odd happenings have put the people there on edge. Perhaps when you arrive you will be able to make more sense of it.

Bon Sami
Species: Psycomomph (Cadaveric) (Shoki), Class: Apothecary (Pathogenist)
Has been a member of M.M.A.P for the longest out of the group. Joined the expedition from a nomination high up in the guild. Not much is known about his past and being an Undead only further strengthens his mystery. Yet his loyalty to the Guild is unquestionable even as a junior and his skills in combat are refined
It has been some years since the disgraced Black Albertross faction within the guild was expunged but Bon dresses in similar attire, almost completely covered in something resembling a plague doctor's attire with matching cane and all.
He is a new Apothecary, a rare adventuring trade that hasn't been seen in most parts of the world for some time.
Paprika Decota
Species: Tabaxi , Class: Bard (Hosting)
Paprika, the Eldest child to the well known Decota Family of Needlewood. She is the eldest to twelve (12) other siblings and has finally convinced herself that now is the time to leave home and make something in her own name.
Growing up in the Decota Family she was always surrounded by food, Her mother Chaos is a Baker and her father Teo a cook. several of her siblings took up similar fields of work but Paprika was drawn to something more monstrous.
Her Grand-Mother Ravi, a retired Blood Hunter taught her the basics of monster hunting and anatomy, leading to the inspiration to create meals of Monster parts!
Though no tavern would take her unique craft and no money to open her own place she turned to the guild to earn some cash and open her own monster meal tavern.
Silas Araxis
Species: BugBear , Class: Blood Hunter (Mutant)
You may know the name Araxis before the name Silas. The Araxis family was a major supporter of the Guild until very recently. Yet most do not know the relation Silas has to the family. Rather secretive, a Bug-Bear is rare in the mortal plane and Silas is normally only ever seen training in the Baraks with a Goliath man named Orion. He is also often put on mopping duty. His appearance, overall isolation and the rare abilities of a Blood Hunter make him a boiling tub of rumours around the guild. Many Junior members just seem to make up stories about him at times.
Despite all this Silas is actually a rather loyal and helpful person. whatever his dark past may be his view on the day to day is rather positive. He was nominated to go on this expedition.
Karel Northstar
Species: Elf (Half-Elf) , Class: Wizard (Illusionist)
Probably the newest Guild member of the group. Her story isn't too dramatic, a Yong woman from Covania, and like many other Guild members an up-incoming adventuring joining the guild for a head start in her career. She is rather positive and is always open for a chat but never really follows up on deeper connections. her only major personal quality has been her random absence from the Guild for a few weeks at a time due to a caring for her sick father. Much of her wage is sent back home to pay for treatment.
She has also been known as a bit of a prankster, using her illusion magic in creative ways.
