Introduction & Story

The Nation of Reton is experiencing a long running peace over the past eighty (80) odd years. Although various tensions between factions, cultish plots, dangerous beasts and day-to-day troubles occur in the land it is overall one of the more calm periods of the nations life. Our story starts with humble beginnings, A well known supplier has hired four (4) relatively new adventures for a simple delivery job.
they are to deliver some rare supplies from the city of Whitkin about a weeks travel south to the rural town of Meford.

Though little do they known that none of them will be here to see where this story goes, what ripples in the country and the continent it will cause. An Old Evil returning, Government corruption, Civil wars, Planner travel and even some dungeons & dragons. Comrades fallen, friends made, people lost and stories written and re-written. What happens here is sure to shape the events to come before and after. Welcome to the world of Felwind.

Professor Stem
Species: Oceanuartic, Class: Warlock (Fathomless).
Joined Session 01
Professor Stem is an Oceanuartic from seas he does not wish to specify. From his words and demenyor it would be fair to say he has not been among regular society for very long. Finding the simplest things fascinating. His appearance is rather odd and monstrous but not threatening. He speaks very well despite not having a visible mouth. However his appearance shifts and changes depending on the individual looking at him. Some see him as an elderly posh gentlemen, others a crazed hermit. He wishes to take a journey with others to experience 'mortal life'.
Departure: Session 6
It seemed the journey between Whitkin and Meford was all the Professor needed for satisfaction. When the party travelled to Aelmore Island, Professor Stem stayed behind and when the party returned he was no where to be found. Leaving a letter bidding the party farewell.


Singsong Hopalong
Species: Avian-Folk (Kenku), Class: Warlock (Fiend?).
Joined Session 01
Singsong was a successful acrobat, part of a Kenku performance group in a traveling circus. But as a Kenku they would not make up their own performances but mimic others. After accidently becoming a Warlock, Singsong was thrown out of the circus and travelled along for a few months aimless. Running into a man named Mackenzie the two of them became fast friends and journey together. Ending up in Whitkin where they aimed to take a few simple jobs to earn some quick gold.
Departure: Session 07
Perhaps out of annoyance for the rest of the party, or simply realising he had bitten off more than he could chew when this 'simple' delivery job turned into fighting undead and planner portals. When the party dove deeper into Aelmore Island Singsong and Mackenzie were left behind. where they returned to the main-land and went on their own way.


Mackenzie Kademia
Species: Human, Class: Fighter (Champion).
Joined Session 01
A Yong man of minor noble birth. Mackenzie, or Mack, is on a journey to find himself. Much of his life has been spent between study and the family business but coming of age with the recommendation of is tutor he has set out into the world to learn first hand how the nation works, free from the filters of his minor noble life. He Hopes to learn some life skills and refine his views. if he wants to take over the family business of selling nuts or start something new. With some basic combat training and a few gold to his name he hopes this journey will be one to remember.
Departure: Session 07
It Seemed the world was far more intense than Mackenzie could ever be ready for. though the journey was good and some of the people he met were interesting, the life threating fights with bandits, the undead and who know what else put a rude focus on his mortality. Rather than the rough life of an adventure returning to one of comfort and business back home seemed to be the way to go. Leaving Aelmore Island and together with Singsong left to return home.


Bemin 'The Fist'
Species: LizardFolk, Class: Monk (Open Hand).
Joined Session 01
A LizardFolk from the rural town of Ruststille. A Humble leather worker and Monk of the Open-Hand. Bemin has given in to the urge of adventure that has been growing these past few months. Although he has only journeyed to Whitkin its the farthest he has gone from home in his life and he hopes his journey will yet take him further. Although he cannot deny the feelings of being homesick. the world is vast and unknown. excitement is equally rivalled by anxiety.
Departed Session 13
Sometimes it just takes one bad egg in a group to spoil the bunch. Bemin had been caught in attacks from his so-called party, Particularly one elf Caelynn one too many times, Despite constant repremand nothing seemed to change. This coupled with a building homesickness and his lowering self-esteem as a member of the party eventually hit a boiling point. he packed up and left with only the most basic farewells. Though one party member Teo did manage to slip a goodbye letter into his bag before he was gone for good.


Caelynn Liadon
Species: Elf (High), Class: Ranger (SUBCLASS) \ Rogue (SUBCLASS)
Joined Session 02
Caelynn, An Elf that has problems working with others. Some would blame her poor attitude on her dreadful early life experiences, Others would simply call her a jerk. Despite her hostility to all around her and her xenophobic behaviour, she does get results. Not always good results but results nonetheless. She is on a mission of revenge to seek out a group of Drow who pillaged her home when she was young. But her plans will be interrupted as she gets sucked into something far too difficult for her to take on alone.
Departed Session 32
Burning almost every bridge she could eventually there was only one left to take. After Caelynn was free from the ire of Gashadokuro it seems she found the usefulness of the party come to an end. Rather than chase the evil to the end of the journey she voted to go back to her forest in Greyhawk. where her combat skills would be put to use in preparation for an upcoming rebellion.


Neo Chesh
Species: Tabaxi, Class: Bard (SUBCLASS).
Joined Session 03
A humble bard, a runt of a Tabaxi. Happy and joyful through and through. Neo was found by the party during their journey from Whitkin to Melford she seemed to have passed out from eating too many pastries, or had just missed the wake up call for the morning travel she isn't quite sure. Rather an aloof lady who really only wishes to entertain people with her bongo music and devour all pastries she sets her paws on. She had no real drive aside from that and so joined the party on their adventure.
Departed Session 09
In the end it became apparent Neo was not a lady ready for the demands of an adventurer. The constant fights following the party, the bickering and the rather overall unpleasant atmosphere were taking its toll on Neo. So after they had rescue the Inn Keeper's daughter in the town of Seastone. she decided to stay and work in the town as the local bard and entertainer.


Mithrandir
Species: Elf (Half-Blood), Class: Bard (SUBCLASS).
Joined Session 08
Mithrandir is a rather up-beat Half-Blood Elf. As common as flies in Reton but he would do his best to make himself stand out. an armature bard with a real talent that will see him go far. This is his first adventure and he is beyond excited, hoping to see many new places in the world, have epic battles of good vs evil and hopefully become a well renowned bard of his own. His only issues is that he seems a bit to naïve to the world and lacks some urgency to his own life.
Perished Session 22
He cheated death at every opportunity and so eventually his luck would run out. During a battle with a Beholder in the basment of Carric's Keep Mithrandir would breath his last. taking a direct hit from a Death Ray he died instantly. at least he did not suffer. His body was recovered and buried on the Keep's grounds.


Teostra Hazzak
Species: Aasimar (Leonin), Class: Rogue (Assassin).

A young Tabaxi man, Teo is a naturally talented thief and lives for the thrill of the heist and to a lesser extent, Assassination. Getting in and out leaving no evidence is his strive, absolute perfection for a heist, if anything less he feels he has failed. For if he leaves a trail its not just him, but the party he has started to journey with that may also get in trouble. Being a long running member of the criminal guild Blacklist he has more resources than he lets on. But Teo desires something more from his life, he just doesn't know it yet.
Departed Session 35
A Lesson learned, Don't steal from those you are traveling with. Despite having little to no evidence of Teo's actions the party turned against him. Deserved? certainly. In the weeks that followed Teo would find himself more and more isolated, Only really having Dameretos to talk to. It would force a cold hard reflection of Teo's choices and eventually when an opportunity presented itself to walk away, he ran.


Carric Corthdraw
Species: Elf (Drow), Class: Druid (Shepherd).
Joined Session 09
As a Drow Carric's life hasn't been easy. If it wasn't for his mother he probably never would have been able to go on adventures like this. He is certainly excited for the opportunity but rather selfleshly looking for glory. He Joins the party boasting he is a capable warrior and although his linage has a few members cautions overall they are accepting.
Perished Session 10
The saying of 'You wouldn't last 3 days' seems to be rather on point. Carric on his first adventure, tempted like many others to draw from the Deck of Many Things. Drawing the card of Death and falling to the might of the Avatar of Death, the rest of the party did not intervein as the nature of the card would have all who helped only make things worse. Carric perished that day and was buried soon after.


Valerie
Species: Tabaxi (Koria), Class: Bard (SUBCLASS).
Joined Session 10
Born and raised in the Feywild Valerie was nothing more than a companion for the Fairy knights of that realm. Singing and working for her food and shelter, the work was never hard and life was otherwise whimsical. Until one-day an upset from the mortal realm. The line between Felwind and the Feywild in the Greyhawk Forest is very thin. so when a fiery Chromatic Orb set the forest partially on fire it spread into the Feywild where Valerie was given power in a desperate attempt to save her. Letting her travel into the mortal realm and flee the flames. Now on a mission to find and punish who ever did this, her only clue being a giant eyeball.
Perished Session 19
Deck of Many Things holds fates worse than death. and when Valeri drew her card she found out first hand. Her soul ripped from her body and sent somewhere in the Cosmology to be sealed away. to wait possibly forever for rescue.


Rose
Species: Aasimar (Fallen), Class: Fighter (Champion).
Joined Session 10
Exiled from Celestia Rose deliberately went against the laws of Celestia and learned her own fate hoping to change it, but the action only sealed it. Walking in the mortal realm as a mortal herself, this fallen Aasimar is a strong if gullible warrior. She has spent many years trying to right her wrong by commiting good deeds around the land as a sudo folk-hero yet she has not herd any forgiveness yet. It was the drive to wanting to join the party in their duty for stopping the old evil known as Narkul the Lich.
Perished Session 36
Offered power to change her fate, Laying defeated at Narkul's feet. Rose would rise again and join the Evil she had originally set out to destroy. Perhaps her mind was already fading due to the Black Amour's curse or perhaps she was not as righteous as once thought. Sent to kill her comrades Victoria and Ironhide yet she failed, and was thrown into the endless sky. Not to be seen again in this future.


Sindri "Ironhide" Turen
Species: Gnome (Rock) , Class: Paladin (Redemption)
Joined Session 13
Like many warriors of Celestia, Sindri; or better known as ‘Ironhide’ would be drawn to the party not by happenstance but by divine guidance. A Strong Gnome, a Paladin of the Stonewife, Unlaa, Ironhide is a true leader and a somewhat headstrong hero. But most remember him by an odd quirk he has about being clean and cleaning others. He will quickly become the De-facto Leader of the party and with his guidance and strength the party will surely be Victorias in their quest.
Perished Session 50
Faced with impossible odds he did not waver, and Sindri would fall for it. The party would falter, bad choices made, resolve broken and faith lost. But in some silver lining, Sindri’s death did help the others escape the same fate. Though he would rise again, against his will, turned into Narkul’s powerful pawn. A Undead general.


Victoria Eastdawn
Species: Elf (Half-Blood), Class: Cleric (SUBCLASS).
