The party are taken to a game over screen were they are presented with a number of options.

Each option can be paid for with hero points that they failed to use (points that Expired) as well as any points that are currently banked.

Options

Restart: Restarts the combat encounter from just before its initiation. Initiative is kept the same. (Costs 5 Hero Points)
(To try the fight again or escape before the fight begins)

Rewind: Rewinds up to 1 round of combat (Costs 1 Hero Point)
(To try a critical moment again)

Revive: Revives a number of chosen party members as if they took a long rest. (Costs 3 Hero points per party member)
Bring the party back refreshed to keep the fight goining)

Rebirth: Lets all party members return with new characters picking up right where they left off in a relevant point. retaining gear cost and level. (Costs All available Hero points, Minimum of 10)

Revenge: Players revive as if they had a long rest and can decided to defeat the battle with a super duper anime attack or just auto win. (Costs All Available Hero Points, Minimum of 20)

Retry: Players start at a plot relevant point in the campaign with new characters and starting equipment relevant to campaign. (No Hero point Cost)

Return: Players can opt not to continue Campain, either starting a new one or dropping out completely.
Note this option can be applied to individuals. (No Hero Point Cost)

Coming down to the last or 2nd last session of this campaign is exciting and releaving. its been over 2 years we have been running this game and i as the Dungeon Master am ready to finish off this story.

Lots of ideas didn't end up happening, lots of plot points have been changed mid way. and lots of plans were all made just for players to leave the game early.
I do not want to stretch this game out anymore, As the dungeon master I am burnt out on this story and think i have been for the past few sessions now. its time to wrap it up before me or my players break.

With everything that has happened i wanted to lean towards more of a calm ending. the idea that Evelyn the final hag would surrender makes the most sense to me from her character's perspective, she is very intelligent and the power to manipulate time she sees her end is nearing just as i am. In her shoes offering utter surrender is te wisest move, and although its not a explosive climax its the calm ending i would wnat after such a long journey.

But the players also want blood. Attacking a foe who has offered submission and surrender seems very evil aligned no matter who it is. The players may be suspicious but their paranoia has only ever betrayed them this whole campaign, being paranoid about the things tat are safe and accepting the wrong things at face value. ad i have played that every step of the way.

Evelyn is telling the truth, she offers surrender as well as all they wanted in exchange she only asks they leave her alive. the payment being the Anti-climax ending.

Orlander and her Festival, Assassination Plot

With Orlander being told of the assassination plot she now has the required information to stop it from happening as well as putting an end to the Thorn throne once and for all.

by the end of the next day the resistance will be captured and rounded up, on the morning this happens Vaylith will move on and he thearter will be used as a public exacution for the leaders of the resistance, thorn throne and others including the princess and the replacment princess being Roviro's sister he has been searching for.

Seyeto is the name of the black albertross leader

Roviro

It has been learned that Roviro is the dead prince of the thorn throne, his memories altered by a hag when he gained his sorcerer powers. His sister is the princess but what about the oher sister? the wray family? are they actually his family or just more false memories? the truth is that Roviro's appearance has bee changed in the same way that his serching sister has been changed, Skabatha using her magic stripped roviro of his physical identity and gave him one of a soldier part of the Wray family.

if roviro revokes his right and honour as a member of the thorn throne, Roviro can stop the execution and fight the party to the death or his face will be stolen by Pan-ah Koh. as when when was asked how far he would go to save his sister he said he would kill everyone behind him, referencing his party.

Fighting Orlander

If the party has not recived the serum from Vaylith then they are doomed. Orlander will turn the party into plants for her garden.

If the party administers the syrum in watever way, (Dart, spiked drink, forced etc) she will become vulnerable. at which point the party have a few options.

  • Kill Orlander: the Red queen will appear with a sinister aura, complellig the party to use it and decapitate Orlander, plunging the entierty of jardins into a necrosis state dooming the fey that called the land home to a state of undeath.
  • Threaten Orlander: threatening orlander to kill her will give the party the oppityunity to make a deal, if part of the deal is for her to leave her rulership then Jardins will recover and the Folklora there will reveal themselves to be FLoral dragons that had been sealed by Orlanders magic.
  • Just leave: make a quick getaway.

Vaylith

The Drider woman Vaylith is only in the thearter as part of her agreement with Black albertross, eing a Red haring as well as a 'thorn' in the side of he festival planning.
If the black Albertross are defeated before the festival or the party catch on to the real reasons Vaylith is there then she will move on peacefully.
Before she goes if the party have bee kind to her or offer something she will give the party a vile of her creation using the unicorn water, its an anti divinty serum able o bring a being such as an Arch-fey down to mortal levels for 24 hours.

Fight Vaylith
Vaulith is very prepared for a fight and will be a tough one the party is not expected to survive. Vaylith will not kill the party outright but will capture them and hand them over to Black albertross.

Unstoppable force of malice. he will plague the party every night from here on out until they are all dead or the campaign ends.

The rabbits maze

The next night the party will be dragged into a maze and hunted down slasher film style, if they reach the centre the rabbit will be there at a tea party of sorts. he will ask three questions of each party member, for each question they get wrong they loose a hand. if they get three questions wrong they loose a head

Epilogue

“You catch Evelyn's outsterctehd metal claw for a hand, your still not sure but you must as you shake her hand.
Then the Deal is done
With a strum of her threads several doors appear behind her. the one on the far right opening up into what seems to be a large dark forrest.
And so, I shall be leaving the Feywild, never to return. as bargained. She curtsies. I enjoyed the Show, bravo
With that Evelyn floats on through the open door, it slams shut behind her and shrinks down until in vanishes form sight.

The Other door remains closed, but you seem to know how it works, simply knock on the door and think of where you want to go, open the door and you will be taken there.


It ends as it begain, with a deal.

Returning to the palace of vrugbarr its like a whole nother world, the mansion is glistining with light and beauty, the gardesn well kept, the damage repaired and voices of cheer and happiness from within.

Once Evelyn has been dealt with, killed or deal accepted the epilogue begins.

Upon that the Hourglass coven is no more, The spell is broken and the Prine's power returns. planner travel slowly begins to repair itself over the next 24 hours as the realms begin to write themselves.

The party are to return to the palace of Vrugbarr to claim thier reward

Returning home to Safeharbour felt like walking back into a old abandoned family home. His house covered in snow

Though the journey was full of excitment and danger Anise came out of it rather well. perhaps some spicy memories and alot heavier

since we’re taking the deal, gimblehorn feels defeated and weak, out of desperation he’s seeking to find the final item to break his pact and then embracing his darker, corrupted hag side, looking for more power so he’ll never have to take a deal ever again. he’ll probably split off from the group after the deal

gimblehorn would go off on his own to learn hag magic. he doesnt want any strings attached with anyone anymore. he’d also return to wicked to end it on even terms. over the campaign he’s softened up towards her and while he’ll never forgive her, he can be man enough to end it cleanly. technically gimblehorn isnt thinking about becoming the casino hag but he will be down the line. the casino’s name will be Haghorn’s Dealbreakers for Doubloons. as for final words, he’ll say “For as long as I live I’ll never take a deal again. No matter how good. Ill never be weak again. I’ve been a pawn all my life and It ends now. If we end up meeting again, I’ll be on the other side of the table, rolling the dice and dealing the hand.”

With a flash and bang Rudy found himself waking up in his school dorm bedroom. a massive headache and very hungry but himself! not some old rotting boddy, not some wooden puppet, his own flesh and blood. His hair had grown out his nails too, and his body was very malnourished, it hurt to move but it was his pain to bare.

Upon returning to the mortal realm Tami is greated by the shimmering twilight. and upon her first breath appears the young Goddess of the twilight domain herself, Selune.
she welcomes Tami home and praises her for the task complete, however her praises are filled with suspicion and disappointment. for wile Tami used selunes power she barely uttered the goddess's name and only a few prayers were herd. a disappointing crusade. Though the task complete Tami has not earned Selune's favor. in fact Tami is now put on a new crusade to test her resolve.

Selune questions tami's constant doubt of the other higher powers. “I saw through your eyes at every step of your journey Tamira. And when confronted with higher powers time and time again you disrespected them and doubted their power. The twilight cannot help but wondering if these doubts extend to me as well?”

Velvin
only a few weeks after the Feywilds were set right Velvin was approached by a duo, a Drider male and his precious offsider. they wished to purchase the Withlight carnival from her.
After this she returned to the mortal realm and met a Leonin man who owned a tavern in Uthasil. things seemed to hit it off soon after that and within the year they would have a child together named NAME.

Billy Hill
The mischevious Billy hill continued to play around the Feywilds spreading his song and his forshadowing.

Greck the Oger
The heros inspired Greck so much that he started his own odd job buisnisse in the Feywild.

Roviro's Cosin
he got his wish but not in the way he wannted. with the Thorn throne no more the family was left without purpose, Dishnoured and broken the family broke down, its not know what happened to the individual members, some went to work normal jobs, others left the Feywild entierly some took a long swim in the deep ocean, while the cosuin got to chase their passion for botany.

    • This was a small performance and while it was successful it didn't attract ay major recognition

  • Performance at City of Glass
    • This was a grand performance very well put together if a bit rushed. The audience was the biggest one Anaise has had yet.
      Rep Gained: Grand amount, Anaise has a bit of name recognition in the city of glass.
  • Performace on the Airship
    • This was a smaller performance for a small crowd of a crew but it was very well done.
      Re Gained: Anaise has earned some respect from Captain Redgull which will be big if se ever needs the assistance of his company in the future.
  • Performance at Soul-Glow Tavern
    • A Small successful performance however the crows was not the desired demographic, those passing on have little way of spreading the word.

There is little Networking to be found in the Feywild unless you impress a higher power such as an Arch-Fey or Hag or similar.
There is an opportunity for Anise o get great Renown with the Performance in Jardins. see quest (The Trouble with Actors)

These were goals given to Anaise as a way to experiment with guide lines, Figure out her own five goals. She has however take them literally while it works a bit its not very good character development

Anise Expecting

After her three day fest with Yonari on the airship she has caught a child.
Pregnancy Started Session 20. (3rd Sunday, Harvest)
Pregnancy Current, Session 32. (2nd Friday, Frostmoot)

  • Time: Almost 8 Weeks
  • Total: 36 - 44 Weeks

This Quest is centred on Anise flexing her performance
The Jardin’s theatre is closed due to a problem.
The Party would have been made a-wear of the Theatre during exploring of the city or after taking on the quest (Passage beyond Jardins)

Wile the theatre is an optional quest it is quite a major optional quest. Its part of the (Putting on a ball) section of the (Passage rough Jardins) quest. After the Ball is finished the next day there is supposed to be a play at the Theatre to close off the celebration. If the theatres is not attended too by the party when the performance plays it will be interrupted by undead spirits ad ruin the performance and possibly the parties chances at that Epic Boon Title or even being able to leave Jardin's peacefully.

Clear out the Theatre

The Theatre is currently overrun with the undead spirits of dead actors and possessed furniture. The party need to get rid of all unwelcomed guests so that Rehearsal and repairs can begin.

Isooz's quest for power has begun manifesting stronger this has opened up some specific ways he could attain power to push him further beyond a simple mortal.

The Power of the Hags

To Obtain the power of the hags is a dangerous game to play with however Isooz's seems dedicated. The power of the Hag covern is within his grasp if he follows some cetin conditions. There is a Corruption meter now on Isooz that i will use to track how far along his hag transformation is, reaching milestones will award/curse Isoos with boons or banes. The counter is at 512 starting at 0.

  • Devoured the Essence of the 3 Coven Hags, Granny Slackjaw, Davilok and 3RDHAG. This means Isooz would have to eat most of the bodies of the 3 Coven hags. To prove his devotion and dominance of this power this is one thing he must do.
  • Obtain and use Hag magic. Using Hag magic to deal a total of 000 HP of damage to other creatures. Each 1 HP of damage he dose with Hag magic will equal 1 point of corruption. But this will cap at 200 total points.
    • A Special Hag spell will become available at some point involving making a deal with another creature to take thier soul. This can only be done once and adds a flat 100 points of corruptions as well as adds a new boon/bane

End Goal
If he obtains this power he will be able to curse the Arch-Fey of the Feywild like the Hags before him and be able to warm the Feywild to his new twisted ideals.

  • IF Isooz has obtained the full power of Enlightment this path will become locked off
  • If Isooz Pardon's the remaining Dream manifestations (See Power of Enlightment) allowing their souls to rest he will have the opportunity to resist the twisted ways and instead become a new Arch-fey but be unable to remain in the Feywild. he will be givine a choice of the Mortal plane, to return to celestia to try and teach his people not to rely on the gods or journey to Arcadia to work and establish a new set of laws and orders.
    • If Isooz choses none of these options then see what he wants to do and if is reasonable go ahead if not, enforce the choices
  • If Isooz didn't pardon the remaining manifestations for any reason (Kill, Abandonee, Ignore) then he will loose himself to the corruption and so loose control of his character
    • If Wicked has had her items returned she will confront Hag Isooz and request the parties assistance to defeat him, If the items havent been returned then she will not assist.
    • The players may collectively wish for Isooz to be returned to them at which point Wicked will assist the party in bringing him down for a purification either by the collective Arch-Fey or a special item found in the Xingjian Temple
    • If Isooz is left unchecked the Feywild will collapse and will result in either divine intervention of the Feywild needing to be rebuilt by the Seelie and Unseelie kings. Issoz Hag will tear himself apart due to the natiure of hags never agreeing, now with four presence his mind is torn usunder. the result of Isooz will be a blighted tree ina fractured twisted pice of land that has bled into the mortal plane.

The Power of Enlightenment

Power through enlighten is an age old tradition of ascension for new Gods. Isooz has this option from becoming a wear of his true nature and choosing to embrace it by killing his old true self. This has caused Dream manifestations of all his partners to appear in the Feywild. He must track them down and either forgive & pardon them or anything else. Once he has obtained all 6 he will have the opportunity to ascended.

  • Killing a dream manifestation awards their soul focus as well as a special pice of equipment or spell. killing any of the remaining dream manifestations will lock him out of ascension
  • Forgiving or pardoning them will also result in their soul focus bun no bonus item. if all are forgiven Ascension is available.
  • If he misses or does anything else with the manifestations then no rewards are given and Ascension is locked out.

The Dream Manifestations

  • Razza
    • Will be the last one the party encounter. After all other Dreams have been dealt with Issoz will show up to the party during a nights rest. Giving his final thoughts on the situation, Congratulating Isooz if he has chosen a good path or berating him if he has chosen selfishly. If good he will say that he put Isooz in this situation and that nothing he could say would be enough but he asks for forgiveness and if he dose that his enlighten will be one of kindness and love, not control and anger. (This will lock in Isooz to an oath, if he breaks it Ascension fails)
      If Negative Razza will say there is only one thing left to do and that's to destroy Razza's soul cause if he doesn't Razza will use any and all power available to him to restrict Isooz's further gain of power.
  • Fleioux. COMPLETED, NEGIIVE. Gained +2 ASI Isooz attacked on fist sight
    • The Boomer of the group, He can be found early either in the library of Davilok's lair or in the palace of Vrugbar reading books. If encountered he will go on about how Loxodon area kind and thoughtful race. “We are watches and protectors, our people suffered a great loss many millinea ago we now work to prevent this from happening again. Please Isooz make sure you know what you are doing.”
      He will chat offering lore about the Loxodon in general but he will eventually ask. “Isooz, though I have said you were never meant to exist and if it was my way i would have destroyed you as you are now. would you forgive me?”
  • Jim, COMPLETED, NEGIIVE. Gain +1 ASI Isooz did not reach Jim in Time and he was slain by aother force
    • Jim Is located in the Necrosis Lands of Jardins, upon reaching the border setelment thier will be rumors of a twisted elephant creature. see quest (Adventuring Party: Valour's Call) for more information. \\Jim is a combat encounter with no way around it. (Stats Here)
      Jim Will specifically target Isooz, To forgive Jim the party will need to subdue him in any way and Isooz will need to say something like Jim my Brother, Though our time together was short you will always be with me in my memories. I hope you can find peace, and i ask you, forgive me. Specifically Isooz needs to ask Jim for his forgiveness.
  • Isooz: COMPLETE: Positive,
    • Encountered In the Hag's lair, Isooz would need to kill his sleeping self by his own hand
  • Kilno
    • Is one of the things causing issues for the theater in Jardins, see the quest The Trouble with Actors.
      Kilno will either need to be included in the Play or be challenged to a song battle and beaten. to be available for forgiveness.
      If the party decide to fight proper him he is a clone of Anise's in terms of class and so will become a negative outcome.
      If Kilno is ignored then he will continue casuing issues for the theater.
  • Rucffass:
    • He is located in the Xingjian Temple talking with the Grand master about the blade. He will ask the party to display a true warriors battle with the Grand master so he can see it first hand. Weather the party win or loose as long as the Grand master is reduced to Half HP or the battle lasts 20 rounds that will be enough for Rucffass. He will then be elible for forgiveness
      The party can flat out fight Rucfass but he is almost defencless and provides little resistance. The Grand master will step in to protect him and then its a battle to the death
      • Note if Yonari hasn't been encountered the Grandmaster will refuse to fight honorably until his pupil Yonari is freed from his corruption and returned to the temple for healing, See the quest Yonari of the 4 Seasons

End Goal
If the tasks for ascension have been met he has the option to wish for it from the Arch-Fey or find his own way in an epilogue. He will become a true new god of his chosen Domain and take his place among Celestia. If he refuses this charge then his ascension will be stripped and back to regular isooz, as Ascension requires the oath to be satisfied.

Gimbelhorn is currenly in an unwelocme pact with Cinder as his patron. he has a few options that could present themselves

Gimbelhorns Hag Adventures

he has been told that he can start to creat his own hag magic spells when a few things have been satisfied

    • Either from a Hag, A Hag's Book or reverse engineering (destroying) a Hag spell he has already learned.

Gimbelhorn has to opportunity to either real the pact with wicked to make it farer or more in his favour. Or create a new contract where he can finally be free.

Gimbelhorn makes a deal with Cinder that thier deal may be altered or completed in his Favour.

  • This Requiers a contract to be written up. The contract must be completed on special paper and written up i a way that is for Gimelhorns benifit. once complete he can submit it to Cinder

Wicked's True Name
Wicked's True name can be leared a variety of ways. Learned by asking Pan-Ah-Koh

  • Deal with The nighmare hag
    • If the party make a deal with the nightmare had she will tell the party Wicked's true name
  • Return the Spear to Luanier
    • Upon retuning the Spear to Luanier there is an opportunity for the party to learn of Wicked's true nae from her, But this requires some specific convocations
  • Favour from the Prince of Desiers
    • A party member may request Wicked's true name as on of their wishes from the prince of desires. however if they learn it this way the they cannot repeat the name to others and writing it down just reads gibberish to others.
  • Good Favour
    • If Gimbelhorn earns good favor with Wicked she can willingly accept the renewed contract idea bypassing the need to know her true name.

Devil's Parchment
A blank scroll of infernal parchment, the necessary medium for all contracts scribed by Devils and Fiends.
It can be found i a variey of locations but once one is founf the others disapear.

  • Shady Gambling Reward
    • In the city of Glass if Gimbelorn did some active gambling then he would be invited to a special hall i te lower parts of the city. there if he managed to win against another devil part of the winnings would be a Devil's Parchment.
  • Pie Fiend
    • If the party managed to defeat the pie fiend in combat or finish all his meal courses it would be rewarded as part of his loot drops.
  • Old Friend Pain Speaker (Obtained)
    • In the north of the Necrosis lands lays a fissure tat leads into a splinter of the Shadowfell (Lower Underdark) There the party can find a few things but one is a Pain speaker who approaches Gimbelhorn to hand him a Devil's parchment. This pain speaker is one of his former party members. If the pain speaker is attacked then it will flee.

Ambringgnal Ink
Ink used to write some of the most influential words accross the Nine Hells. Demons use this one and only ink to write all their contracs. It is a concoction of condensed Arcana (Consuming All spell slots for 7 days), Liquid Night (Ink from a Kraken or the Mucas of a Jaberwocky) and most importantly the blood of an Arch-Fey or Celestial. Where to Obtain?

With the three McGuffins obtained Gimbelhorn will then need to find a proper way to write the new contract. not just anyone can do it. Gimbelhorn can try with some skill checks or can find somone more capible.

upon the contract being sumbited there will be a final test. One last gamble

The Pact is Broken
Gimbelhorn can instead choose to break the pact in a few ways.

  • Hag's Deal
    • The Hags have te pwoer to break Gimbelorn's pact with Wicked.
  • Wicked's Death
    • If wicked is Killed the Pact will break
  • Prince of desiers Wish
    • Gimbelhorn has the opportunity to wish for the contract to be over from the prince of desires which will work.
  • Thy Severance
    • A special item called Thy Severance which will sever the contract but at a steep cost

Gimbelhorn's Death
If Gimbelhorn dies before the contract is renewed or broken. in a way where he cannot be revived or killed by Wicked's hand (Or by one of her special weapons) then he will suffer the same fate as hi party members as he is erased from existence

If Wicked is killed the contract will be broken

  • Killing Wicked
    • A Very specific item is needed to be able to face off against Wicked without access to her overwhelming power, Known as the transdimentional cube. it is the 3rd item that was stolen from Wicked, the other two being the SOul nail and Unforgiven

Weapon Upgrade
Caligos wants to give his sword some chain action. he will need to find a suitable chain and a skilled smith to accomplish this.

  • Not Supplied: Upgrade will be 1/3 of the weapon's gold value
  • Raw Materials: Upgrade will be 1/4 of the weapons's value (Found in a nerby cave)
  • Pre Made Chain: Upgrade will be 1/5 of the weapon's Value (Froma flail owned by the mayor, ca be purchased OR do a jo for te mayor going to the same cave)

Caligos is trying to awaken the latent powers within his giant heritage.

he will have to succeed on a DC 15 Charisma check then succeed on a skill check of his choosing with the DC based on how well he Role plays the interaction, DC = 15:Poor, 10: Decent, 5:Good

He needs 10 points with each session a possible of two points

Why did Trigger Leave Smoker?
Trigger was found out that he abaondoned his mission from blacklist and came to deliver punishment, Instead he made a Deal with an unknown entity that would spare Smoker from Blacklist's eye but the price was everything. One more Job, to retive the Fang of Thomas, Not return it, simply find it and the deal would be satisfied.

Trigger is using this as a test of Smoker to make sure he can go on life without him. If Smoker can survive this and find trigger then Trigger can finish the deal in peace and pass on to the otherside, Leaving the Fang of thomas as his last birtday present.

Operation Dark-Bloom
A Very well decorated book of dark violet material with a pattern of silver inlayed into the cover with a flower resembling that of an 'Equi', A very rare flower that grows from the branches of a tree caught in Un-death.
Inside the books pages are notes and recipes to make a variety of dishes, some simple, some complicated but they all require strange ingredients.
Spending time reading it anyone would start to pick up something is odd about the recipes, the instructions and measurements don't make sense when thought about practically. those of keen mind may pick up that the book is obscured in some sort of code. and a tough one to break.
It would take the very best time and effort to break if they could at all.


A book written in heavily obscured code. Though through your effort the code is broken and you are able to make sense of the hidden words within the recipes. it still takes a while to bring the individual pieces of information into full sentences, it may take a few hours to learn all you can from the book.

  • The Book details the plans of an assassination plot on the Leader of Jardins, the Arch-fey known as Orlander the petal Dragon. Motions, steps and tasks for Black Albertross and the Thorn Throne. It will all come to ahead during the end of the Petal Ceremony, On the final day when gifts are given to the Petal Dragon in the closing event.
  • Reading on It says that the seeds have been obtained from the unicorn and they will be grown into a rare 'Equi' Flower to be gifted to the Arch-Fey as the moment to get close to her without raising suspicion.
  • It reads of a weapon, 'Fey Bane' is ready for deployment despite the various set backs. scouring the book for more information on this 'Fey Bane' brings little results.
  • There seems to be a password for the resistance in the capital but it is not listed in these pages. however you do catch a phrase that is repeated often. Do you fight for Vengeance or for Hypocrisy?
  • It says after Skabatha's work the princess has been returned safely home and weather the plan succeeds or fails the Princess will still bring about the rebirth of the Thorn throne with the prince by her side.

A Stack of Letters
there is a stack of letters of correspondence between Skabatha and someone named W,R.
The letters detail various trades and information, Most of it makes little sense to you and probably not worth your time trying to find out.
What you do learn though is there was some sort of deal between Skabatha and Jardins, that's why she was able to remain in the land withought fear of reprimand and why her activities were turned a blind eye too. Skabatha was supplying or supplied something to Jardins as part of a deal, these letters detail the efforts of that deal.

Looking further you get parts of scouting reports, it seems Skabatha was using various means to scount not only Gloomlurch but the deadlands and report findings back to jardins. On this you realise there are reports of the thundering horn's movements here too. for a few months its seems right up until just after (The day the party delt with the theif)

Jardin's Capital & Passage Beyond

The Parties destination lays beyond Jardin's borders further north however they find that its currently not possible for outsiders such as themselves to cross the border by land. If they are to cross over into the Thorn throne safely they will need to figure out why the border crossing is closed and how to fix that. Or perhaps find an alternative route.

Arriving at the Capital

Even still a day's jouney from the city walls the party can see the land around them begin to change. More and more fey they would see traveling the roads and camping along the forests edge. The flora rapidly began to increase in number, variety and beauty, Flowers condensed so thick you could not see the grass bellow. magnificent species ever so rare in the mortal world and some never seen before. trees grew tall and strong with leaves coloured everything but green and seemed to sing softly in the wind.

Description
The city is surrounded by a wall of impossibly large trees grown so close together they form a wall of bark. outside this tree wall is a collection of Fey citizens living in houses grown from trees like they had encountered in the checkpoint town. many seem humble and small, most of these people are Folklora, the plant species of people but you can find other various Fey citizens here as well.

Roviro feels a sense of familiarity. like he has been before the capital many times before, but when he tries to dig into those memories all he finds is a migraine and static.

You spent the better part of your military career trying to storm these capital walls. years upon years of hardship, countless comrades taken away, now you standing here not under a flag of war but upon a path set by fate. what do you feel?

What can be found
The party can ask the various Folklora for some basic information about the city and the surrounding area.

Inside the City

The city is on the scale of a major capital in the mortal world. but every building is a tree grown into the shape desired by the artatecht. the city is bustling but in an odd way. it seems almost all tose inside the city are Folklora. and everyone seems to be walking in a very specific way. like their are invisible lines guiding the people where to walk and puppeteers dictating how they walk. You get the feeling that this place is very stringent on rules.

Gee Way
upon entering the city the party get little time before they are quickly approached by a Dragon-born but not any regular one, a floral Dragon born. She greets the party by name.
“Welcome Welcome to our grand city. Her Exellance has bee expecting you for some time. please, if you will follow me i will show you to where you will be staying.”

  • If Protest “Oh we have rules here in the capital of Jardins, and her Exellancy has demanded that you be shown a temporary residance during your stay in the Capital. she has many things to discuss with you and she is very busy with the upcoming festival. There will be plenty of time for you to explore after you have bee properly settled.
  • If further protest Guards will show up as an intimidation and Gee way will comment. ” my apologies guests. this was never a request of you. please come with me.”

Home away from Home

Gee Way will lead the Party to their residence. a large vacation house a good distance from the main pathways.

The house is well equipped and seems safe. there are some letters on the table containing official invites for the party to attend the festival as honours guests in a few weeks/months time.

Gee way says to make themselves at home but refrain from leaving the city walls until permission is given by her excellency.

Returning Home

Wen the Party returns home at any point after leaving the first time they will come back to the door splintered and scawled in blood.

During thier time in the capital the party will be approched at night asking if they fight for Vengeance or Hipocrasy?. If they answer vengence they will recive a special letter containing details on where to find the hideout as well as the password for safe passage.
If they answer hipocrasy then the resistance will be put on alert.
If answered anything else they will simpoly leave the party without any change.

The Invitation
The letter the party receive from lack albertross is blank until soaked in the blood of a Fey OR Looked at with true sight. it reads. “You have been invited, Participate in justice and the Rebirth of the Thorn Throne.” Giving directions to Black albertrosses hideout.

Down a a dark alley only visible at night the party can find a doorway that leads to a hatch that leads down a ladder into a dark damp underground.

The small undeground cave system is the hideout for the resistance in the capital.

The Party Break in

Standing before the Castle

After 2 days have past an adviser (Gee Way or someone else) will find the party in the morning to escort them to the castle

But before they get far upon arriving in the Capital they are approached by a royal advisor who requests the parties appearance before the Arch Fey, Petal dragon Orlander (See Quest 'Putting on a Ball)
Orlander Will give the party 3 months to prepare for the ball giving them time to learn dancing and undertake any side quests they wish to do.

End Goal
At the end of this quest and relevant side quests the party will be called before the Petal Dragon once again. Depending on their actions they will receive the following rewards. (1 or no quest completed) The party will be shunned out of the city or worse put o trail or even executed.
(2 Quests complete) The party may receive praise or a “Good Enough” they will grant the party a pass to travel to the thorn throne but don't expect any future favours and maybe even hostility.
(All Quests Complete) The party will receive high praise and receive an Epic Boon Title as well as a pass to travel and a personal request from the Arch-fey Orlander.

As the party approach the northern coast they begin to expirance things they havent in a while, breeze, smell, sound of waves crashing. just over on the horizon further west the fog clears to reveal land accross the sea on the horizon. even from this distance it seems lush, green, vibraint and flowing with life.
Upon the shore they stand lies an old campsite and the wrecks of many ships, mostly small sloops or smaller long boats but some larger ships final resting place against the rocks and sand.

If the Party tries to cross any stretch of ocea that takes longer than a day to cross the party will be set upon by the Sea Phantom

Bellow to waves of the sea the party can see the shine of treasure and the glow of gems. deep bellown an ominous darkness that seems to be calling them but also radiating danger.

As you swim deeper and deeper you find the sea to be rather pleasent, a fine tempreture and gentel currents. Coming into view more clearly is a massive ship wreck surrounded by countless marine animal Skeletons, strangely all intact

The party will notice a vast amount of treasure within the ship wreck.

Skabatha Nightshade is an old Hag of the feywild, Was a member of the hourglass covern but was kicked out before the campaign began due to indifrenceses with her sisters, Mainly Evelyn. When a new hag that more aligned with Evelyn's ideals Skabatha was kicked out. She lives in her fallen tree workshop making cursed toys with children as workers.

Skabatha has been in touch with Slackjaw as they have remained close friends until the party killed slackjaw and her letters remained unanswered, Skabatha has learned what happened but has not let her anger blind her choices.

Being Kicked out
Skabatha was kicked out of the Covern casue she was a somewhat voice of reason, Not wanting to go so far as to upset the natual order of things, rewriting the worlds laws. She has made a Pact with an Arch-Fey that allows her to stay in the Feywild.
Upon meeting the party if they are not outright hostile she will greet them and thank the party for disposing of her once sisters (This will put her is a friendly mood with out party)

Just outside of Skabatha's workshop is a market run by a group of Goblins. This was mentioned by Greck during his inital meeting.

The Goblins here are rather disconnected from Skabath, they offer strange sweets that have odd effects based on the boom PAGE.

Oh yes Chuckle talked Many with the cat man. he told Chukcle of many things. He said he wished to celebrate a very important day of somone close to him, but he has to wait until he finds him. Chuckle thinks its s game of hide and seek.

Skabatha's Workshop

Skabatha's workshop is a toy factory of sorts. SHe uses the lost children of the feywild as her workers, These children are mostly those stolen from the mortal plane.

A number of children have been kidnapped and put to work here in SKabatha's workshop. tough their living conditions are not terrible they are prisoners nonetheless.

Three of wicked's Children are being kept here, They were stolen away from the palace of Vrugbaar before the beginning of the campaign and have bee replaced by very conniving duplicates, Due to the waning power of the prince of desires the parents haven't figured it out ywt

While two of the children are rather normal in behaviour, the third named NAME is rather unhinged.

Wicked's Children want to go home and will plead with the party to free them. even bargaining their mother and father's power.

The Missing Child from Grovistide
From the very beginning in Groovistide there was word of a child that had been stolen, she is here. her name is Maria. a normal human child.

The Red Cap Garden

Just outside Skabatha's Bedroom is a circle of Redcaps growing. there are 22 Redcaps here in hypination. Entering the garden te character makes a stealth check DC 14. On a fail 2d4 Redcaps spring up and start threatening the trespasser.

Rocking Horse

The Rocking horse is Laldilon, the unicorn wife from the other wayard pool. If the party o to the pool before hand they find her daughter that says the Hag stole her mother away but she is not strong enough to get her back and can't leave the pool until mother returns.

The Rocking horse is cursed and can only be freed if Skabatha is willing or is killed.

Tin Soldier Baracks

There are 12 Tin soldiers tat are slightly stronger living armours as a stat block. they mostly reside in the store house but when called will warp to a location chosen by SKabatha

Inside this room if a character prick themselves on any of the thorns the picture frames will fill with their closest family members. The family portraits are magic in nature and animated as if they are worries or concerned about something.

The Gala is a a sort of pre-celebration for the revival of the Thorne throne. These people of the thorn throne have been in hiding in the swamp land and other parts of the Feywild for a number of years, but with the news of its steady revival they have come together in a celebration of returning home, as well as the coming of age of their child who is aimed to be the new leader of the thorn thrones military.

As Luanier takes the spear there is a soft flash as she clutches her head. memories flooding back. WHat she gave up. Like her sister Anaise when she made the deal with the hag Davilok, she took Luanier's dragon form. Which is Rozelina.

Luanier wanted a child and so made a deal with Davilok for one. SHe gave up quite a bit for it and in the end the creature she birthed was short lived.

A tear rolls down her dark face speckled with gold. as she stared longly at Roze and Caligos. “Rozelina you say?….what a crule woman that hag was. Rozelina was the name i wanted if I had a daughter.

Trigger was the thief! though he thought it was the Fang of Thomas until he realised the Fang was a dagger not a Spear. so he sold it to a merchant in Jardin's capital.

Where is the Spear

  • In the Jardin's Capital for 2 weeks.
  • Sold to a merchant then travles to checkpoint town where it is sold to the mayor
  • A merchant is coming to purchase the spear while the party is in town but the party can outbid if they have deep enough wallets.
  • If not obtained it is sold and moved to Skabatha's lair

End Goal
Once the spear is returned Luanier will consider the deal fulfilled and will form a positive bond with the party.
If the spear is not returned or refused to be returned then Luanier will become hostile to the party, SHe will tell them to leave and will specifically target Anises how she is gonna tell father of her transgressions. She will give a more threatening warning and if still not headed She will steal their shadows as punishment.
If combat begins she is a very tough opponent using the deck of many things as a weapon and space magic, Orb of annihilations and other such crazy things.

The “Mayour” of Checkpoint town

In the morning during breakfast a messanger will approch the party i the main tavern. “Greetings Thundering Horns. The Mayor of our fine town is expecting your company this morning. in about an hour please make your way to his estate for a formal greeting”

Once agai approaching the buildin you see it is massive, ust shy of being bigger tan the taverns its probally the biggest building in town. Finly decorated and well maintained. several Folklora guards stand outside eyeing the party off as you approch. But you were told the Mayor is expecting you.
The same messanger from earlier appears at the front door ans gestures for you to hurry along before opening e doors wide.
Inside is what you would expect from a wealthy mayor. various treasures decorate the shelves and walls, books neatly tucked away in thier shelves. the smell of fine food and several guards and servants standing idly by awaiting their call. the woodedn walls all glistin wit some sort of varish or similar substance as tose same large glowing beetles flicker soothing light throught the house.
The party is pointed down the hall to meet the mayor.

The Mayor (Channel chuckles the clow, Mad hatter )
The mayor is a stereotypical rich guy who is only interested in the party to try and earn a few favours. he wants to meet the party and learn what tey are doing in the lad of Jardins. he will also offer information on various locations but dosen't know any secrets.

Though called the Mayour he has little governing power since this is the Feywild.

The mayour only responds to that title. His real name he won’t reveal willingly.

The mayor has plenty of money to spend and some trinkets to sell. He will buy treasure at a maximum of 90% of its cost but will always start at %50.
Prestation or deceptions checks with good role play will determine the difficulty of the roll. (13 Easy, 19 Medium, 25 Hard)

  • the first check will raise the price to 70%, a 2nd check of one difficulty level higher will make it 90%
  • If during a haggle one of the party members insults or dose something stupid then the lowest difficulty will be locked.

Gatheing 12 mushrooms will take between 2-6 hours depending on survival or nature rolls, the DC is 16. a Pass decreses the time by 1 hour. starting at 6 hours an a minimal of 2.

On the 2nd Night

Someone representing Jardins has hired a skilled thief to steal Roviro's letter from Tami. They believe that the letter holds information important to the nation (It does as Jardins does not know about the new/found princess)
From the interview they know the letter was in Tami’s posession so she will be the target. If they find it not with her they will try Roviro instead. If not on him either then they will leave the party alone and try later.

Near midnight Zarak will break into Tami's room. Make a stealth check. if its above 15 Tami won't notice, if its bellow then Tami rolls a perception check. if it beats 20 then she will wake up. if not then she remains asleep.

If not caught in the act. The next morning when Tami or Roviro wake up a perception check of 15 or higher will reveal that “someone or something has been through your bags”
If the letter is taken then let them notice on their own.

If the thief is caught in the act he will attempt to flee right away if there is an easy escape, If not he will use a (Non-Magical) smoke bomb then dimensional Hatch to hide. (Dimentional hatch is a non-detectable spell similar to rope trick where they make a tiny pocket dimentio to hide in).

Zarak was detected but managed to escape. he will try to steal the map from Roviro the next night

If caught or cornered Zarak will spin a story that he is the midnight cleaner. “I uhh i am just the cleaner boss, doing my duties, no need to be so voilent”

If called out he will spin another story that he was hired for a job ad just really needs the money for his family
“Alright alright…i admit it…i never cleaned anything in my life. the truth is i been hired for this job, offered alot of money they did boss. how could i a family man say no? its been tough since the war. me and me family been on tough times but this job was gonna change all that.”

If called out again he will just admit he wants the money. he is a thief by trade wat do you want from him.
” ALRIGHT…i never married…..im just a thief by trade, doing me job boss. you gonna get mad at me from doing the trade?“

The Mayor's Job
The Mayor is willing to part with one ore more of his items (Aside from the spear) if te party do a litle job for him. There is a flooded cave a few hours walk from the town where here has been word of rare items. the mayor requests you return with some particular items and he will exchange them for the ones he sells.
But e want's to do this properly, the party will have to collect the job poster form the job board and bring it back to hi like proper procedure.

The Entrance
At the entrace to the cave is a warning sign with a strange symbol, an image of fire with a cross through it.
The entrance of the cave becomes filled with water for a ew hours every day. normally around noon, Around dusk, around midnight, and around dawn.
The entrace of the flooded potion is around 130ft deep and the water contains Dreamiranas. Which eat a creature's vitality making them in need of sleep. possiby falling asleep i the water.

The Cave
Inside the cave is rather dark and those without darkvision will need some sort of light source.
There are several fire bugs inside the cave providing dim light but there is a reason. The cave is filled with natural flammable gas. so these bugs feed off that to glow non-flammable

The Trolls
The trolls have moved into the cave as temporary living. There are a few bones of creatures they ave snagged, animals, huminoids etc. they are huddled around the fire bugs. they say thigs.
“Blasgeted, these bugs provide bugger uall. which we should get a fire going.”
“You think that crack pot at the back of the cave will come out if we offer him some of the elk we caught?”
“Arrrrggh how are we supposed to cook without no blasted fire?!”

The Dealer
At the back of the cave the Narcotic dealer is working away, mostly oblivions to the happenings in the cave. After the trolls moved in he remained behind a poisoned water supply and a magic veil. He has been working away for about 3 weeks but is running low on supplies.
He is very thankful for te party coming wen they did.
“I am not sure how much longer i would have lasted. i was expecting the mayor to send someone earlier.”

The dealer has litle to say and offers small talk relating to the town and the mayor, otherwise hands the party the majors narcotics and offers some to the party as a thank you for saving me. They can buy more for a bag to 230 Gold.

Fairy Dust
A Narcotic crafted in the Feywild, despite the name its not made from fairys but a combination of unknown ingredients. The small crystals shine changing colours between pink, white, yellow and blue. hey are meant to be ingested raw or mixed into a liquid. It has the texture of popping candy and has a similar effect on the mouth.
Injesting a small pouch's worth will triple the movement speed of the creature as well as putting them under the effects of Action Surge every turn in combat for 1 hour. but there are dramatic drawbacks. 4 levels of esxastion and system shock, and risk of addiction

Rewards
Returning to the mayor with the narcotics the mayor thanks the party and keeps his promise at thier choice of items from his collection, he offers oly one but if the party push him (Persuastion check 14) then they can get two, if they push him again (Persuations check 17) they can get a 3rd but not the spear.

The Heist
If the party are unable to purchase the items, they could always steal them?

Desppite the hosues rather simple design it is well protected against thieves.

Traps

  • Front Door
  • This trap teleports any invisable creatures directly into a prision cell if they pass over it. The cell is then locked but the guards won't check the cell until a few mineuts have passed.
  • Hallway
  • This trap alerts the guards in the store house who surrounded the house after it is triggered
  • Bedroom Door
  • This trap triggers a big harming spell on whoever tries to force it open or fails a lock picking check without first discovering the trap
  • Chest trap
  • This trap triggers iof the chest is opened without the code (Being to give the chest a scratch and call it a bood boy before opening) the chest will eat and swollow the target dealing 6d6 acid damage every turn
  • Screechers
  • These will sound if they detect a spell being cast within range or an invisable creature, doing a banshee scream

Highway Robbery

The plan is to jump the buyer of the spear before they get into town. disguise themselves as the buyer and get the spear that way.

The Target
The target is hiself rather defecless. a rich noble folklora, a pumkin man of sorts. the money he has is locked in a special chest that requiers a puzzle to unlock as well as a password tat only the target knows.

The Cart
Is very lavish and sturdy. it would handle a decent attack and still function normally. Its a plant cart that is rolled along by a giant beetle.

The Defence
There are several folklora guards guarding the cart. 6 in total with 4 hidden. they have decent gear but thier tactics involve creating plant walls and striking vines from those walls as well as toxins.

Alternitive methods

    • Offering the guards 100 gold as well as a secsessful charisma check will have them stand down without resistance

Returning to mystery keep the party find it just as cold as they left it.

Approaching the massive stone keep you get a sense of familiarity and danger. The place feels strangely mortal as if its out of place in the Feywild. Its dark stones stark contrast to the howling white snow. Though for some of the party they know the malicious secrets within have mostly been defeated. Mystery keep still seems like it holds many secrets.
There is warm light coming from many of the windows and a more welcoming feeling. you know where the front door is, why not head inside.

Entering the main hall may be a relife or trigger some traumatic memories. It was here where you defeated the nightmare hag Davilok, it was here where a hardfought fight was won, barely. to others its a nicely gothic decorated warm room.
Mage Rippers can be seen watching the party enter from the rafters above and some familiar faces. You see the Oblex chatting away with one of the Hand shapped spectors. they seem to be arguing about something. something about monster rights.

Orphell the Ooblex
Orphell is arguing with a spectator about monster rights when the party enters. SHe greets the familar faces happily and greets the new faces as if she knew them for ages.
(Orphell left part of herself inside Gimbelhorn and has been seeing and hearing everything since there night together.)

  • If questioned how she knows them she explains casually.
  • SHe hates Gimbelhorn's new look. seemingly very disappointed and wanting to get with someone else

Despite knowing alot of whats going on she still asks the party how their adventure is going and if they are close to defeating the final hag.
After some convo
Orphell will ask the party about Auril's grave. asking if its still there. after their answer she will say to herself. “Oh thats great news. I gotta get there right away!”
(Orphell wants to absorb/eat the bones of Auril to atain new power, this will allow them to become a ‘Blob of Annihilation’)

Elisia
The party enters the room to see the floor covered in crumpled up paper, hundreads of them all over the place. looking deeper in you can see the giant serpent frustratingly at a desk, talking to herself flustered as she writes down her words. she get frustrated again as a mage hand crumpled the page and tosses it behind her. Inspecting the crumpled

  • Checking out one of the papers will show its a letter, written for somone named 'Corvus Thrash' the letter starts off very sential, a love letter, or a longing letter perhaps. it starts off well but then is scribbled out. Checking more of the letters they are much the same with varrying levels of competion and varrying levels of spice. Some are filled with deep longing, profound appoligies, borderline porn, the scribblings of a woman who is severly conflicted with her feelings about a potential lover.

Sneeking up on Elisia will cause her to yell in surprise as she covers up what she is writing

If the party make themselves known she doesn't yelp in surprise but tries her best to hide what she is doing. she will see if any of the party have been reading and will get very embarrassed. “ahh aHHHH don't read thaaat ahh its privateeeee”

after all has calmed down Elisia will welcome the party back happily but be concerned that there are a number of missing faces and new faces. welcomning and offering the party some refreshments. where they see some scribe gnomes acting as helpers.

The cursed sword is no longer there. it has been taken by Rathal and left some time after the party left.

Mr Micker is Back

You notice Mr Micker's cart right away. still covered in all manor of junk and treasure. hightly decorated ad the Dark counter displaing just his rat nose and wiskers in the light. He leans out to expose the res of him as you approched. a glint of money in his eyes but a warm smile welcoming friends.
“Greetings friends. Or should i say Fewer. You are missing some faces from last we met but gained some new ones? hmmm, tales to be sure you will share wit Micker. happy or sad tales Micker will hear with drink in hand,”
The Harengon seems nervous, as if seeing the party has confirmed a rather unfortunate theory for him. he fiddles with his rat fingers for a few moments, long enough to cause an akward silence before he shakes his head.
“We would like to thank you for your assistance. please accept this. i am sure it will come in handy along your path. Not much further now aye?”
Mr Micker pulls a small ornate wooden case from under the counter. as he places it down you here the jitter of glass tapping against itself from inside. Inside are 6 Devil's Brew potions of healing, 3 Greater, 3 Superior.

He will nod and swivel back. “Now what ca Mr Micker sell to you today? or perhaps some words of Rumours may satisfy your ears desiers?”

Rumours
Mr Micker has bits of information to tell.

  • Weather Problems in Buubelton. “Oh yea are you guys going to Buubelton? its such an amazing place where all te weather of Jardins is made. Though i herd they were having some issues, Right before the reat celebration too.”
  • The Actors of the Captil have all been scared off. ” I actually cae to see if i could set up shop for the Jardin's celebration, lots of good customer oppitunities. But the main event i herd alot of the actors were scared off, fleeing all over the place. alot of tem left the capitial and are now in other places all over Jardins, it will be tough to wrangle them all up for the show.“

Mr Micker will only talk about this if pushed or convinced, and only in secret, not around Raishin.

  • Saw Arno's Mom
    • Was the strange creature that Tami saw when the party camped at the casm
    • “eeehhh alright alright, i'll talk, but come find me later, and make sure the Dragon dosent follow.”
    • Micker seems nervous, like what ever he knows e wished he didn't know. “Alright listen. i was in the deadlands for a while and i saw a few things. I saw a Drow woman being 'Escorted' by that mercenary army yea? she was taken into that pit far north. I kept one of my freinds nerby to watch but nothing really happened until you guys came along. Though when you came out you did not have the Drow woman with you. i figured she wasn't down there and had been moved. that is until i saw your Dragon fly down there in the night and come back out with her in claw. bound and gagged. yet she didn't return and kept flying. i don't know wats going on but it can't be good.”

a Group of Soldiers from Black Albertross have ambushed the party. They have weapons drawn but thier reasons seem conflicted. as if they are not sure weather to treat you as friend or foe.

The Leader seems to be a woman in a mask with her right hand soldier also masked with a missing arm

A few moments of waiting to see what the party will do if they jump the gun. If nothing dramatic happens or convosation has not started for a moment then the leader will speak. Confirming the group’s identity before saying
“We have something for Roviro” as she does the Thorn Throne salute, This squadron is here partly because Roviro’s sister has a message for him.

Roviro is handed a delicate letter scrawled with various doodles, Sealed with the thorn throne seal. It reads
“I will see you soon, My dearest Brother Roviro. I have a big surprise for you in our home land, I have found the Princess”

After the letter has been handed to them the captin explains that Black Albertross is expecting the party,

“ Oh of course not without compensation. You are headingbto the checkpoint yes? We have Boarder passes enough for the party we will happily trade them for those seeds.”
But the band also need the seeds of that flower that Rudy managed to gather. Its part of the Mercenaries group plan to secure safety and prosperity for the thorn throne. But she dosent know the full use for it only that the group in the Jardins capital knows more details.

She offers several border passess for to seeds. If not taken she will offer the borderpassess for the party to deliver the seeds in a Fey deal.

There is only one connection of land between the east and west of Jardins and it is protected by a massive floral wall and guards who act as a checkpoint.

Deacription
As you follow the path you quickly notice a dramatic change in the land just up ahead. As if there was a splice in the land it quickly goes from the ahrivveled dust and dirt to grassland, strange pretty flowers. A fload of bugs and animals, sounds of nature, wind, the warmth of feywild daylight. Even the very air is better. As you bask in this realisation that you have made it, you have crossed the Deadlands, something that not most can claim as you remember the other adventuring party Valour’s call and the countless beings you saw dead in stone, bones cursed or fates worse,
the fog lifts as if an invisible barrier prentednit from crossing the grassy green and purple border and only a frw hundread feet away lies a massive structure.

As the party approch the main gate they will see various heavily armboured gurd Florafolk stationed all along the wall and at the gate, as well as a few Florafolk at admin as well as a few familiar faces.

There will be a small que of MR Micker having some trouble getting through, He sems to have misplaced his borderpass.

The party approach a small clearing next to a dried up pond. There is a small campsite with a smouldering fire and cooking equipment easily noticeable.
as you approach you notice movement in the pot left on a tree stump, several small mushrooms seem to be dancing and singing in what looks to be a blend of crumb, spices, butter, egg and herbs. Aside from that the camp seems empty for the moment.

The camp has basic supplies, blanket, bedroll and various ingredients for cooking as well as well packed meals.

A group of Capsiri (Mini Mushrooms) are buttering themselves up saying thier Friend Greck is gonna treat them to a warm bath before dinner (cook them)

Greck is a Blue oger who has left the camp to gather firewood when the party arrive. He won’t return until such time as the DM deems a suitable moment

Greck is a Blue Oger and is startled by the presence of so many. He might not approch at all if the party is looking for a fight. He is armed with a simple heavy club for his size which is Large. Though he is strong he is no mach for the whole party.
Greck will try to hide, avoid fighting. He has access to a feature to entangle foes for 10 mins while he eacapes

The Capsiri can be convinced to leave with a check of 17 or higher (persuasion, deception, intimidation)

The oger will plead for its life saying “you can have the muahrooms for yourself just please let me live!”

If killed the oger drops various ingredients and cooking supplies as well as alot of onions

If spared the oger is likely to tell the adventures some info “Well it looks like you guys are on a mission of aorts aye? I’ll tell ya what i know if ya like.”

  • Further north there is the ol Unicorn wayward pool. Part of a duo you see. They were lovers, but after the war this lamd ear was tainted and the unicorn here, mighty stubborn, refused to leave and suffered for it.

  • there has been quite a bit of movment around this side of Jardins recently. I seen groups of people stalking the woods not Fey, humans i think, don’t know what they are doing but i am sure it aint good.

  • Skabatha has been really pushing her bounderies recently, her blasted Red-Caps are all over the place, best steer clear of them they are trully vile. Jabberwocky Trail

As the party journey they stumble upon a strange sight, blood, clawmarks, scales, the signs of a struggle.

On Closer inspection you can see these are not normal clawmarks, Nothing like you have ever seen before. The tracks left are two toed and elongated, the clawmarks leave behind a black wispy substance that reflecks green light when looked at the right angel.

Intro
North east of te checkpoint lies a small lake containing a large tree upon a islad in the lanke's centure.

The lake is just up ahead. Its crystal like shine coupled with its mirror stillness is uncanny and beautiful at the same time. A spark of beauty in this otherwise dead land. Just beyond the water’s esge lies a small island, atopped with a giant dead tree and what oook to be stone wall ruins. You catch a glimpse of a figure standing still before, fog rolls in, unnaturally quick as it envelopes the party blocking off all sight. But it foesnt last long as the unicorn skull the party has begins to shimmer and thin the fog around . Only about 30ft around
the skull’s pull is dramatically stronger now, pulling towards the island.

A Unicorn skull, Holding it alone feels like blasphemy. For all the issues with Unicorns they are seraphs of Celestia and so hold high status in religious circles.
The Horn on this skull shines brilliantly and hums with natural power.
It has a light but firm pull, pulling towards an ancient tree in the Necrosis Deadlands of Jardins. If left on the ground it slowly slides along the ground towards where it wants to go.

A Strange relic or ornament made of Bone. it has strange runic symbols carved into it that make no sense when translated into any language.

Its design leads it to resemble a currency of some kind, But for who? and what would you purchase with such currency?

There isn’t much on the lake’s edge for the party to investigate aside from A capm of Black albertross soldiers.

Further south of the Ruins lays a cave filled to the brim wit briliantly shinig Gold coins.

This is the cave Sharphina comes from

Approaching a small mountain you spy a well travelled path leading into a cave. Even at this distance the cave dosent seem very deep but the glint of gold can be seen in the darkness.
Inside the cave is an absolute haord of gold, Ingots, coins and raw nuggets of all shapes and sizes filling the cave high.

Sharphina is a Goblin who was recently tricked into carrying out a cursed task for a creature called Nib. Weaving a mass amount of cursed gold into magic items with enchanted tools.

She has been here for a number of months, she has decided to make the most of it as even if se could escape there is no way to leave the feywild due to the hags influence. and se is getting rewards back thanks to her Demi Litch servant.

Sharphina dumps the items she makes at the ruins at the end of every few days wich explains the large amount of loot

  • She does this as a lure to lure adventures in for the bonyard to devourer. Sarphina then loots the corpses and uses that loot for her own gains

Just Take it
Sharphina will make one item for each party member worth 1000 gold or less if they are nice to her.

The Curse of, Shadow Children

  • Anyone can accept to take Sharphina's place. they will have to weave all the remaining gold
  • If anyone tries to take the gold or items not made for them out of the cave they will be cursed with Shadow Children
    • Curse Details Anyone cursed has the shadows of annoying children following them. at night they will poke, prod, pull hair, place bugs on you, spill dirt in your food etc.
      They Cannot be interacted with in anyway aside from a wish spell or remove curse. (Remove Curse renders them inactive for 2 hours)
      The Cursed cannot get a good nights rest as the children annoy them and plauge thier dreams, After a long rest they suffer one level of exhaustion and do not gain benefits of a long rest.
    • Those native to the Feywild under the effects of the curse can see the children. (Tami can see the children due to her Twilight Domain)
  • To end the curse those who took items or gold must do the following steps
    • Return with the old/items to the cave
    • Use the gold-worth to prepare a Hero's feast spell scroll (There are pre-prepared scrolls in the cave, The uses just needs Arcane kowlage to complete it.)
    • Have a feast with a goblin

After the party leave either the Goblin cave of the Ruins but before the encounter with jim the party will come across wannted posters. 3 different wanted posters can be found.

As You journey along something catches your eye without much effort, some sort of parchment stuck to a dead tree, it would be fluttering in the wind if there was any wind to feel. As you get closer you see another, and another, Wanted posters it seems, each wit a portrait and some scribble written in Sylvan. You ca spy three different kinds all over the place, some up high, some on the ground, some have been torn in two and the halves have been stuck on different trees. it seems a simple nail is holding most of these posters to their locations.

The Party will see further ahead that the posters are being hung up by a trio of Redcap Gnomes

Red Caps Song

You don't have to continue far before you see the source of these posters. Three short Gnomes dressed in the same outfit, Blue sirt, dark blue pants and a Red hat covered in Mushrooms. They are busy arguing with each other as they put up another poster. One Gnome is holding a bag of posters, one is holding a bag of nails and the last holding a hammer.

Getting closer, now seeing them at talking distance. you see these Gnomes have a few uncanny features, Claws, Needle like teeth, Pure black eyes, lanky limbs and you see each one is armed with a menacing spiked weapon, rusted and bloodstained.

What the Redcaps do
The Redcaps will berae the party upon seeing them, saying they don't match the posters. But look there are yong ones tere, Skabatha needs more for her workshop.

They ask if they have seen any of the wanted people

If the Redcaps are giving something precious in value, The Redcaps mentione something about 'Black Featers are following you' if

The Redcaps become immune after the first instance of damage

Timed Event

Upon arriving in Jardin's the Party will have 7 Days before Valour's call reach Jim and have combat resulting in the death of Jim and perhaps some members of Valour's call.

There will be a few distractions for the Party

Reached Jim Within 7 Days

In this situation the party have reached Jim's location within 7 days

Combat Encounter
Jim is unresponsive to any form of communication, he just mumbles and mutters incoherently aside from a few words tat ca be made out (Isooz, Razza, The Circle, Dark Path)
Combat Begins as soon as the party are within 60ft of Jim.

  • Jim Will Target Isooz exclusively until he is knocked unconcious then he will target who ever did the last amount of damage aside from Isooz.
  • Immune to shape changing effects
  • Immune to charm or frightening effects (Other mind effects)

Reached Jim after 7 days

In this situation 7 or more days have passed and Jim is dead.

As the party approach a clearing you encounter signs of a struggle. It doesn't take much to know a battle was fought here, Broken trees, torn up ground, Marks were weapons and magic have landed and of course, blood splattered all over the place. You might be a bit too absorbed but eventually you notice the huge create laying twisted around the centre of all this carnage. at first glace its elephant in nature but the longer you look at it the more grotesque it becomes. multiple pairs of tusks, a long serpent like body, a sea of eyes now clouded and unmoving. Its body marked by gashes and damage where spells have found their mark, its belly slit open letting blood pool.
(If More than 9 Days have past ignore this part). Not too far away you smell the smoke of a camp fire, looking around you see smoke rising into the sky some 100 feet away. moans and voices ca be herd faintly but you are too far to make out any words.

Is Valour's call there?
Currently 7 days have passed since Valour's call has arrived in Jardins.
The party has found evidence of them passing through in the ruins tey are a few days ahead.

At this stage Valour's Call will encounter and fight Jim without the party

If the party has not joined with the adventuring group for whatever reason, Valour's call memebers will have died during the fight, Strongheart and Ring-Wiz will be dead and Lady will by dying of a unique poision. Fergus will be trying to save Lady and Victoria will have wandered off in panic or distress or other reason.

  • Edit Note: Strong heart, ring wiz will be dead, Lady will be ‘dying’, Fergus will be helping lady and Victoria will have wandered off.

The party will come accros the corpse of Jim as well as the remaining members of Valour's call, Jim's body will be cut open leading to the idea that someone was swallowed and had to be cut out.
There will be a small camp nerby with the remaining members. The party will hear the despereat please of Fergus trying to keep Lady allive,

Dead Members

  • 2 members are dead (Strongheart & RingWiz, and Lady is Dying of poision)
    • Victoria is nowhere to be seen. Fergus is desperately trying to keep Lady Alive and begs the party for assistance when they arrive

Both Strongheart and Ringwiz have died due to thier injuries. They are unable to be revived as their souls are not able to return.

Lady is under the affliction of a poison that reduced her Maxiumum HP by 1 every 6 seconds. She is down to 30 HP when the party arrive giving them 3 minuets to help

Victoria has wandered off under the influence of the Face stealer

Trying to bring the dead back to life (Aside from Wish) will fissile as the soul is not able to return.

The remaining members of Valour's heart will be heading to Jardin's Capital

Intro
as the party delves into the dead forrest you can feel te air stifin, these dead lands have been silent since you got here but not you can hear something, Signing? Screaming? your not sure but its getting louder.
You see many footprints heading in the same direction you are. and you bein to see tings, Creatures, living slumped over like thier puppet strings had been cut. Looking closer you see an uncany sight. all these creatures have no face, as if its been scrubbed off out of existence. Removed from its owner.

An Un-Seelie Fey as ancient as the Feywild's. its a Fey that enjoys taking the faces of those who wander into its domain rendering the bodyt as a lifless puppet and thier being is confined to the face to suffer for eternity.
Koh is a long serpent like figure cloaked in a torn cloak. its face is of a flat mirror with no other visable features. Its body is soft and pudgy and its many arms are bone thin and lanky

If Valour's Call 3 members dead then victoria will be lured away to a cave with the promise of help for her dead commrads

The party will find a cave with a number of faceless creatures lifelessly haging by invisible strings

Whats the point of being here?
The being knowns many deep dark secrets and offers the party temptations.

Things that need to be clarified

Once the party left the pit the portal to the shadow fell disappeared

Once a thriving town now nothing more tan rubble. though there may be things to find.

These ruins resemble a town of sorts but everything has crumbled and erroded away. Plant life would have reclaimed this town if anything would grow. You can spy a few shiny borbels withing the crumbled stone.
There are a large amout of bones around the place, Human, animal, all sorts. there are no complete skeletons just numbers of scattered bones all over the place.
You can see a number of tracks around the town, some fresh some old.

Upon Arriving at the ruins
The party notice tracks both old and new, a combination of animal and humanoid tracks. doing a bit of investigation while the animal tracks are very old the human tracks have been made in the past few days. With the information from ittle oak days prior its safe to guess these tracks were made y the other adventuring party Valour's Call

It is late afternoon when the party arrive at the ruins

There is evidence of a camp that was recently made and used

The Ruins are filled with random loot of all kinds, Mundane magic items, jewellery, potions and other gear.
(This loot was placed here by a nerby Goblin named Sharphina)

There are Ten (10) Locations that Loot could be hidden in the ruins, The characters can search any area they choose,
(The DM rolls a D6, On a 3 or higher there is loot! do not reveal this information to the player until they succeed on a Investigation check of 15 + the D6 Result
The player can use a Take 20 to find the loot if they fail the investigation. Spells such as find item, Locate object or detect magic will reveal locations look can be found, negating the need for investigations but an investigation roll will still be made, on a 5 or lower a trap is triggered.

If the party 'Take 20' Twice or search 6 or more loot piles or spend the night at the ruins then a Boneyard encounter will begin.

you hear the rattleing of bones as the area around begins to vibrate and move. like a storm of death the bones pull themselves quickly in to a single mass. they roll and clatter against the stone and each other before binding purchase within a somewhat humanoid shape, Multiple legs sprout out from the form as well as multiple bony arms, eachone made out of a collaged grafted collection of other bones. upon its upper half are countless skulls, humans, animals, and some unrecognisable. The highest sull being that of a horse until you spot its single horn, a unicorn skull

Boneyard
The boneyard is a mass amount of bones such as Gravelord Nito. it calls itself a child of Vlathoa
A Religion check of 17 or higher reveals the following. (Vlathoa is an Undead Warlock Patron, A Draco Litch who has been around for a long time. the stories go she has had many children and that warlocks who fail here are subsumed into her children. Her children include the Spider Queens of the Underdark and others such as a few Unamed liches, Death Knights and of course Boneyards.

  • The Bone yard questions why the party is here, taking its trinkets and disturbing its sleep?
    • A Nature or Arcana Check of 18 or higher will reveal the following
      (Boneyard's are not natural creatures, they are often created with foul magic as bodyguards or powerful minions, the ritual involves contact be made with the Undead Patron as she supplies the soul to inhabit the boneyard)
  • The Boneyard will comment on wat a lovely large variety of bones it has not seen like this i a long time (The Boneyard readies an action, if the party attack the boneyard will go first without rolling initiative)
  • Combat will begin if the party attack (Boneyard goes first if it readied an action) or if they convocation goes nowhere, (Initiative is rolled

The Boneyard will begin combat summoning 2d6+3 Skeletons and 2d4+2 Minotaur skeletons

  • 3 Skeletons makes a Pack (Each pack gets a turn)
    • Skeletons have a Bash attack (Blugoning) and a Rib-Cage Atack (Traps a single medium creature Strength saving throw. Gains an extra attack on captured targets, Attack rolls of less than 10 hit the capture target)

The Boneyard will focus on those that seem weak bodied in order to do thier skull steal ability. if it manages to grapple a target it will fly up 60ft away from the rest of the party

The Boneyard has a bite attack as well as a slam attack
The Boneyard has access to the Blight Spell at will
The Boneyard as a bonus action can focably move one target with a skeleton 60ft in any direction (The Target makes a Constitution saving through 17 or higher)

  • On a 5 or lower the target suffers a fracture, Roll a D4, Odds mean its a leg, Half movment speed. Even means its an arm, -2 to attack rolls. a creature can suffer multiple fractures.

The Instant Kill

  • If a boneyard lands one of its attacks it makes a grapple check,
  • On the grappled creatures next turn it can make a strenght save to try and break free, if it fails it is restrained
  • on the third turn the creature makes a constitution saving throw (DC 19) on a fail thier skeleton is ripped out and they are killed instantly

Defeat
If the Boneyard is defeated it will drop 3d6 'Marrow Relics' these can be sold later or given to the Sea Phantom to pass safely over the Ocean once, each Marrow equals one day of safe travel.

The Boneyard also drops a cloth depicting the Black Albertross's symbol

The Goblin
Sharphina will show up either after the Bonyard has been fought or the following morning if the party spend the night there.

Sharphina is a sassy Goblin who is rather annoyed with her situation. She has a green complextion, giant ears, orange hair and freckles covering her body. se is extremely pear shaped.
Se has a floating skull, A demi litch that has become binded to her in servitude due to a past event.

Sarphina is currently cursed to weave a massive amount of gold into items. she throws these items into the ruins which explains all the loot More info bellow

The party have a few directions they can go but they are on a bit of a timer. after they wake up Valour's call will alos reac the easter shore of Jardins.

  • The Call for Gimbelhorn
  • Something is calling Gimbelhorn north (2 Day Trip)
  • South to the Ruins
  • The map shows a ruined village sout of little oak (3 Day Trip)
  • Jim Encounter
  • Heading West from the ruins after 1d4 days of travel the party will encounter Jim
    • If Valour's Call is yet to arrive they will arrive after the fight is finished
    • If Valour's call has arrived then a luck roll is made, On a fail 1d4 of them (Minus Fergus) will have perished. (In order, Delialah, Victoria, Ringwiz, Strongheart) and Jim will be partially wounded (1/3 of health missing)
      • If the luck roll passes then Valour call is victorias in slaying Jim, see more details bellow
  • Goblin cave
  • Either after the Jim fight or if the party head south from the ruins within a day of travel they will discover a cave full of gold coins
  • 3 Days: Valour's Call reache the ruins
  • 7 Days: Valour's call encounter Jim and fight (Have the party all roll flat D20 for luck dice. )

Isooz was not avalibel during the sessions when the party were at the palace of vrugbaar.

Rewind and Issous will be at the palace where he will encounter Fleioux (See Bellow)

  • Fleioux
    • The Boomer of the group, He can be found early either in the library of Davilok's lair or in the palace of Vrugbar reading books. If encountered he will go on about how Loxodon area kind and thoughtful race. “We are watches and protectors, our people suffered a great loss many millinea ago we now work to prevent this from happening again. Please Isooz make sure you know what you are doing.”
      He will chat offering lore about the Loxodon in general but he will eventually ask. “Isooz, though I have said you were never meant to exist and if it was my way i would have destroyed you as you are now. would you forgive me?”

Something further north is calling to Gimbelhorn. Something that is the beginning of his possible climax. See Gimbelhorn's Freedom or revenge. this is a opportunity for Gimbelhorn to recive a devil's parchment

The Pit
Upon arrival the party encounter a massive fissure in the ground. Light fails to penetrate the darkness lower than about 100 feet.

The massive fissure spans over 500ft in diameter. the rocks around brittle and break away, as if erosion was happiig at a rapid pace. The air here smells foul. it would be difficult to breath if you were here too long. looking at te ground you can see dark vien like patters along the brittle ground reaching up from the darkness bellow

down bellow the darkness is a fracture of the Shadowfell, upon reaching the bottom the party find evidence of the makeshift prision where Arno's mother was, but nothing remains.
Soon after the party will feel crippeling pain as a pain speaker approaches, the party won't see it at first until its withing eye sight.
Once within eye sight the party will make a perception check,

  • a 10 or higher will reveal the location of the Pain speaker.
  • a 18 or higher will show its heading right for gimbelhorn
  • a 22 or higher will reveal it is holding some sort of parchment

The Pain speaker will be heading right for gimbelhorn,
you see a tall darker than black figure approaching the party. its lanky body featureless aside from a se of pointed horn like things protruding from its featureless head. its face bare aside from a wide mouth full of needle sharp teeth. it moves silently towards you but your head is full of the screams of thousands of souls

the party attack
if the party attack the pain speaker it will immediately flee. Gimbelhorn fails this chance

The party wait
If the party see what happens Gimbelhorn will be approched by the pain speaker and once within 5 ft the pain will stop, and the speaker will hold out te scroll to gimbelhorn.

Last inhabited Ruins

There is a ruined village south of little oak, there are tings to loot and monsters to fight

This Was an Idea back when the party was looking to be 3-4 players but now its 8+ so Valour's Call is no longer needed. There Last appearance will be after the battle wit Jim

The party approach the loud boasting to find a group of people not unlike they have seen before. You all recognise this group of people as an Adventuring party. One that is rather well supported at that. The source of the sound being a Human dressed in Paladin gear, Well groomed with a killer moustache as black as his eyes, fair lightly tan complexation and shining silver armour detailed with blue. as if e stepped out of a children's story book. he seems to be in an argument of some sort with an elderly man sitting on a tree stump strumming his Banjo like a mad man. your eyes fall on the crest tat all the party members wear in different places. (Roll a history check to recognise the crest and get more details)

The Paladin doesn't notice your party but the rest of the group do, You see most of them lower their hands to tier weapons on alert. Unlike our group that's only been together a few moths you get a different air with these people. these are seasoned adventurers. you feel unease as this group examine you, as if figuring out who is the most threating to focus on, which are weak links to easily kill and thin your numbers. before you ca even process everything the Wizard has tapped the paladin on the shoulder to turn him around. His before loud immature demeanour completely fades seeing your group, he too gripping his sword at the ready. They are posied, waiting to see wa you do next”

A noble adventuring party calling themselves Valor's Call. Founded by a resolute human paladin known as 'Strongheart' (He never gives his real name due to knowing the Fey tricks) committed to destroying the evil of the Hags.
The Hag Covern's magic has started to bleed into the mortal plane so the NATIONNAME has recruited one of its best known adventuring parties to journey into the Feywild and stop the Hags.

  • The Party will encounter them in the settlement on the Jardin's border, they plan on journing to Jardins to defeat the Hag known as Skabatha Nightshade but m,ay not tell our party.
  • Valour's Call will be very suspicious of our party at first
  • Valopurs call may initiate combat with the party if provoked, Though when the first member falls the rest of the party will want Parlay except for 'Strongheart' who will fight to the death. The rest of Valour's heart will try to convince him to stand down depending on the situation.

  • The Rouge of Valour's call will recognize MAXXCHARACTER

Phase 1
After the parties run in with the group (AS long as Combat wasn't initiated) depending on how the situation goes they will either

  • Be asked to accompany the group as a sign of good faith to the greater good (Act as a guide)
  • Go their separate ways (Still heading in the same direction)
  • Insist on guiding the party thinking they are in need of assistance (Though Valour's heart don't know where they are going)

Depending on what the party decide Valour's Call will encounter the dream manifestation Jim (See Isooz's quest for Godhood) and attempt to slay Jim
If the party has not joined with the adventuring group for whatever reason their is a high probability that Jim will kill (1d4+1) of the party, 'Stronghert' always dyeing in this situation.
( A roll flat D20, A result of 16 or higher means Jim is slain)
If Jim is Slain, Isooz will suffer a great pain and his ascension will be locked out and the party will encounter the adventuring party again in the Jardin's capital city where they will explain what they encountered dropping hints of Jim's nature. Oh it was a terrible beast. Elephant in nature but horrible disfigured. It spoke too, Repeating a name. Jim, Issoz, and a few other words i didn't quite catch

Phase 2
If Valour's call survived the encounter with Jim then they will be found next in the Jardin's capital where they will spend 10 days before venturing out to the Hag Skabbatha Nightshad's lair to slay her.

  • If the party let on they are also going to see the Hag then the adventuring party may act diffrently
    • They may leave early to try and beat our party to the punch
    • They may join our party in the journey and officer assistance (Only if a fight, If the party do not fight then Valour's Call will begin to initiate a fight)
    • They may tail our party if they think they are up to no good.

Strongheart being the leader of this adventuring party and very full of himself will alone determine who can become a member of this well known adventuring group.
There are many more members of 'Valour's heart' but any members not here are busy elsewhere in the world. They work under GUILDNAME Strongheart is always on the lookout for new courageous heroes who are willing to devote themselves to a good cause. Only characters who pass 'Strongheart's' rigorous tests may join the adventuring group, Being granted a special title that holds merit in NATIONNAME

He has worked alongside good monsters in the past (See Story) and so will be more open to the party and try to convince 'Strongheart' to hear the party out if things start to get heated but considers 'Strongheart' a very good friend and won't every go against him unless something forces him.
  • Victoria Mercion (Uses her real name out of stubborness)
    • Victoria, A Half-elf level 11 Cleric of the Light Domain is a stubborn and rather selfish, Almost Xenophomic member of Valour's call. The only thing she has going for her is her unwavering ideals to protect those less fortunate then her. aside from her own party she finds any other party that proves a threat in power something to shun and look down upon.
      She Fought in the prevention of Narkul for a small time but never managed to commit. SHe provides healing and support for the party
  • Deliliah Molliver (Lady)
    • Deliliah, a Human woman in her 60's or 70's, the younger sister to Sir Dallas. A skilled rouge who has been in this buissness for decades. She only recently joined the adventuring group out of a need to scrub her crime records away. despite this she is very understanding and reasonable woman. she is not a huge fan of 'Strongheart's' blind faith to do good but knows he will always have her back so she strives to do the same.

A Strange Dairy

In the bedroom the party can find a strange Diary that only has a few pages filled in. The rest being torn out.

Dear Dairy, I have returned home and seen mother for the first time in years. She was overjoyed to see me. It took me by surprise i never expected her to care so much about just one child when she has so many.
I miss-judged her just a bit, but all that happiness faded when i told her my plans. She was shocked and furious. Threatening me if i were to go about it. Pleading how she would ruin her family just for this?
They are not my family. He is just some scank whore my mother married. Not even my real father. I know she didn't have the heart to stop me. After seeing how happy she was to see me revealed all the cards in her hand. And once i am outside she has no way to reach me.

My sister still doesn't know. And i don’t think i should tell her. I think she is expecting a child. The signs are there. I bet she will want to leave the Feywild once she knows for sure. I am surprised she came with me in the first place. She didn't want to see mother which is strange. Perhaps she couldn't muster the courage. Now she might never see her again.

A Cursed Blade

As you step out into Stuck in the tree out the back of the lair is an ominous blade covered in eyes

After the Hag's lair the party return to the Palace of Vrugbaar to report, get some rewards, recover and level up as well as get some information on their next destination.
The Palace has become a bit more welcoming now that the Prince of Desires has regained more of their power.

The party arrive within the palace gardens. Looking around the soft mist of the surrounding forrest still lingers as you remember. However the Garden, Once before a mess of wilt and weeds now a spring of colour. New plants have started to bud and simple yet vibrate flowers spot the once empty garden beds. you see small weeds here and there but overall you know the the land is recovering.
You notice two of Wicked's older children currently tending to the garden some feet away. They haven't noticed you, Too absorbed in their work. You here them catting about something, Flowers, Fertilizer, soil, garden stuff it seems

Upon Entering the Palace it seems even more extravagant then you remember, the details are more defined, the walls less murky, You can see your reflections in the polished stone floors. Everything looks better. Once before the atmosphere was dreary and drab is now the sparkling vibe of a fairy tale.
The Party is greeted by one of the servants. You don't recognise them as they were not around during your last visit. They are dressed in proper attire for their duties, A maid or Butler outfit but the immediate thing that grabs your attention is their face, or lack of one. In place of a face is a reflective surface, Like a mirror. They do not speak simply gesture for the party to enter.

Catching a glimpse a Player trying to catch their reflection in the face of these servants will see nothing reflected back. a simple silvery reflective surface but it seems to not reflect anything.

The party see a few of Wicked's children around, the younger ones seem to be playing tag while some of te older ones are absorbed in books or other activities. One rather short lady with long strait hair in that familiar monocrome colouring bumps into you, complete absorbed in her book to notice. (Oh my apologies, sorry sorry) her voice is quiet and shy, large round glasses sit on her face as she blushes and quickly straitens herself before darting off past the group down the hall.

Once the party return to the palace of Vrugbarr they will be given a bit of a debrief and directions on where to go next. They will also be entitled to a level ip (level 15) and to take any down time activities before the next leg of the journey.

Located on the isolated land mass known as The Court of Arcadia. Quite a journey to ask to go home and The Sellie king won’t do it for anyone out of the blue.

Arch-Fey Orlander Petal Dragon
Leader of jardins, same thing with the Seelie king won’t do such a request for people out of the blue. There are many oppitunites to gain favor with Orlander however they are all many sessions in the future and probably not very viable

Arch-Fey Prince of Desires
After two hags being defeated he has regained some but not all of his power. It would be enough to send Ken home and they have a positive relationship being that Ken has defeated two hags.
the only thing is that he is Wicked’s husband.

  • Actually Leaving
  • The price for establishing a portal home will be Ken’s Dryad staff and one item of sentemental value.
    After a few hours the chosen Arch-Fey will get Ken to follow them to an opening where a portal will open up revealing both Silky and Ozrelia seemingly opened the portal from their side.
    Ozrelia will be on duty to keep the portal open while Silky will be overcome with anger and relief as she checks over Ken for injuries before wacking and telling him off in a flustered manner

    through the portal you can see Quill as well as Telula, Filabean, Xione and your other siblings all poking their heads around the edge of the portal to get a look at the Drama.
  • Silky turns to the rest of the penut gallery pointing at Quill “AND YOU! I blame you for this. Filling Ken’s head with dreams of adventure! My baby ran off to the feywilds!”
    Turns to Ozrelia “AND YOUUU! You should have dragged him back by his tail feathers when you found him! I don’t care the excuse you should have!”
    Silky turns to Ken tears rolling down her face. “ Then i wouldn't have spent the last year worrying my baby might be horribly lost, trapped , in pain Q-Q “

The Settlement of Unga-Durage

As the party approached this settlement they can start to catch glipses of movment and more details of the buildings. The air is starting to thicken with humidity telling you there is a source of water nerby. the soft grass of the misty woods begins to give way to a less virbrate ground, the grass tins out replaced by soft dirt and rocks. you ca see well travled paths come into view where years of walking feet have marked out the common ground. a Handful of buildings populate tis settlement, You spy quickly an inn for rest and food as well as a general store, Looking at it you gather there won't be much for sale but the essentials. the other buildings all seem to be homes of te fey who live here. among the rabble you spy a few fairies going about their daily chores and a couple of Firbolg (Nature/History check for more details on Firbolg) you also spy a few Elven engandari, the race that ken first was when you met him (Nature/itory check for more details) Your party gathers all eyes with combinations of fear, concern and awe. but perhaps less then you would expect. and then you hear it. Quite a comotion is going on further into town, closer towords the border. it sounds like loud mouth zelotry boasting from where you currently are perhaps a closer look is in order.

The party can encounter a very large Treant by the name of 'Little Oak' He is very lost and very un-kept with leaves and branches growing out of control, covering his eyes. The Party will first here of Little oak from Wyll of the Wild After freeing him from captivity in Davilok's lair.
'Little Oak' Upon first being made awear of the party will question “Is that you Wyll? Wyll of the Wild? you have returned at last?
Wyll is with the party
Wyll will say he is and say the password. Offering the party to step inside as he makes quick preperations to tidy Little oak up
Wyll went on ahead
'Little Oak' will ask. “Oh you are not Wyll. Then have you come for a day?” If the party do not respond with the password 'Little Oak' Will attack beginning combat.

  • Pretend The party can try and pretend to be Wyll with a successful (DC 21) Charisma check, But as soon as any party member steps inside Little Oak he will question again “Oh you have brought visitors”

Whyll of the Wild

Whyll was captured by Davilok the nightmare hag but upon her defeat he is freed.
He will thank the party graciously and comment on what powerful adventures they are. He will comment that there are still two other hag to kill before the Feywild can finally rest again.
Wyll will mention he needs to get home to 'Little Oak' but won't elaborate further saying “I am very thankful for your aid but i really must be going.” If the party persist he will add “Shouldnt you get a move on too? there are still two other members of the hourglass covern to fell. Are you not Heros?”.
If the party do not mention they killed Slackjaw Wyll leaves. If they do see bellow.

If the party mention the killed Granny Slackjaw
Whyll will marvel at the feat and not doubt it. He will then offer to aid our party with a boon of the Feywild if they intend to defeat the 3rd and final hag. But he says he needs to get home to 'Little Oak' he has been gone for some months and they may need assistance.
He will offer if he can accompany the party until they reach 'Little Oak' Or if its better for him to meet them at SETTELMENTNAME on the borders of Jardins (Note He won't meet the party here instead he will go on ahead and leave a note with the Banjo Man).
Wyll will tell of a password to tell 'Little Oak' so that he won't attack you. Here Yee, Hear me, I am Wyll, Wyll of the Wild, I have come to say, What a gracious day. For friends and family to come and play. A Merry Day Under your leaves, Restful lay above your roots. For all this i offer, A salute.

    One of the Palace of Vrygbaar being a trully wonderful place where the prince of desiers offered all genuine Fey a place to relax and indulge. But he knows the Palace has been more restricted in years due to the Prince's growing family, His Pleasure and desiers has been moved to a location in the mortal world.
    Whyll will offer to tell of the Soul GLow tavern and explain what it actually is.
    Lastly Whyll will tell a story of how Davilok was not always as terrifying as she was. When she first arrived she was a humble Drider seeking escape from wehat ever life she had in the Underdark with her sister. But when her sister fell pregnant she left for the mortal realm not wanting to raise a child in the Feywild.

Unknown to him the Loxodon and his group have been caught in a loop. Normally he arrives at the hag, finds his trapped aleeping self and awakes him. The one doing the waking vanishes and the sleeping one awakes with little hazy memory then escapes to meet with the party.
If they defeat the Hag this loop will be broken as the snake will claim Back her power and fix it

  • If Isooz kills his sleeping self he will break the loop, fall unconcnios and gain a new item (Advanced Druid Focus)

The hag will reveal thier family relation and bring forthnthe fancy guy revealing hik to be his father. While shattering a snow globe to make a temporary portal to his mothers location giving him 60 seconds to decide
Going through the portal will remove Arno from the campaing.

  • Trying to pull the mother through the portal is useless as she is chaoned up. As soon as a single being passes through the portal it closes.

These Dreams are not meant to give any lote merly a trap. Each character will make a wisdom save at disadvantage (DC=17) on a fail they don’t get good sleep and suffer 1 level of exsgauhsttion. Up to a maximum of 3.

Snail Racing
Snail racing returns on a grander scale, A track has been ‘marked’ out throut the city and racers are to complete two laps.
The game is determined by a combination of animal handling checks as well as dexterity checks to make tight turns, and dex saves to avoid obsticals. Snails come with their own in-ate hidden stats.
character weight and size play into it as well so racers may want to doft any heavy gear.

Arno's Mother and Father hag offers a choice on which one to save. Father is chaoned up while Mother is in a portal somehwete in the underdark.

Arno
(for your eyes) Arno is of mixed emotions going into the next session. On one hand he is filled determination to see through this journey to assist his companions for this quest, but he is also doubting now the tracking of his mother. He is starting to lose some hope that it was a real calling and was more of fey trickery

Also when Arno gave up his shadow to magical floating balloon trio, he's been having this feeling like there's still something tailing him. Still lurking behind him

DM Notes

Arno is current on the hunt for his mother this is his main goal. at the moment he has had very little if no idea or lead to his mother that is about to change nect session.

  • Arno upon talking a bit with Cinder will notice her braclet is almost identical to the pendant his mother left him. Upon questioning Cinder will explain its a talismen from the Underdark, very rare, it keeps the sickness of the Underdark at bay. though she is confused as to why a Drow would have one.
    Cinder will say that she had planned to jouney to the underdark but the Hags have trapped her and her husbaned here. she would be willing to take Arno with her if he was to free her of the hags. she even met Arno's mother once before only breifly.

Ken
Hey Sam, just following up your message for character deets.

So at this point, Ida has gone through all of the points we discussed for Ken and his transformation back from Keenan. Ken is missing all of his memories from his time as Keenan so he does not really know anyone in the party, but he is curious about them and wants to stay with them to explore the Feywild.

At this point I don't really have anything in mind for how I want Ken to go. I'm aiming to play him as super curious, maybe stumbling into stuff he shouldn't.

If you have any ideas or thoughts I would be happy to discuss them with you. I want to develop Ken more and play more DnD but am having a bit of trouble finding that inspiration for the next stage.

DM Note

Ken's 'freedom' will be short lived, without defeating all the hags his curse hasn't been reversed but merly wound back. with all his memories of Keenan gone his transformation has been reversed. however.
He will continue to loose memories until some point where he is otherwise unable to function. remembering things will keep him from degrading but will also resume the transformation,

Sorry about not responding for dnd. Tbh I wasn't in the last session of the big witch battle. I came at the end of that and found out of sorts of stuff. My character still observing to see what the disaster he dreamt of and how to prevent it or alter it. He was mainly drawn towards Elmer character. Dislike solar character cause he keep on abusing creature in front of him but having a change of heart from his sacrifice and indifferent with the other party members.

Razza is lacking motivation, His dreams will now start to play a bigger roll in his path giving him guidance to this 'Disaster' he must prevent. however one of the hags will begin to invade his dreams the more he uses them for divination gettiong to the point where he won't be able to sleep and may even cause the other to wake.

The party have finished thier biat race and are now in camp. Kettelsteen will convince the party to follow her to the palace of Vruggbarr.

The misty woods is where they will find Anise who has been lost for a few days.

the party will make perception checks to make sure Kettelsteen is withing view, DC 8. if they fail they will start to see illutions and be drawn away if the fail another charisma check dc 10.

If the party leave righjt away they will see the Fairy Dragon returning the the palace overhead. If the party take a bit longer to leave they will run into the farei dragon.

Thea farie dragon will tell you that the barrier around Jardins still holds strong and to be carful of the waling woodland. he also mentions it seems the Witchlight Carniival is packing up in a few weeks to travel to a new realm.

The party seem to have ted with going North to the Mystery keep. their first hurdle is to get through the wailing woodland.

Wailing Woodland
It will take between 5-12 days to travel through the wailing woodland by foot. The wood takes heavy insperation from the Darkwood game so i plan to lift a few mechanics from the game into DnD.
First off sleep.

There are a few check point structures within the woods, if the party chose thier guide correctly then they should have no trouble going between each checkpoint as the days roll on.

The guide will aim to reach each checkpoint by nightfall.

Arno Stuff
Arno finds out about underdark stuff from Ozrelia. Tells him she knew his family. She has had many trips into the underdark and has met his tribe. She teaches him about some Drow culture and how to make drow poision. The fey effects she says he needs to retrive his shadow. Arno might get a diffrent shadow by mistake causing more tf.

Arno not having a shadow is affecting his body, becoming more fairy like, antenna, bug like wings. More dantey, He will also be told he cannot leave they Feywild without a shadow or the sunlight of the mortal world will destroy him .

Arno is beginning to break the oath he made leading to a new power being awakened inside him but something must be given up to fully harness it. Perhaps a patron sees an oppitunity, perhaps Xelor

Ozrelia has a relevation with Ken about being his biological mother, and he has many siblings such as Telula, filabean and Aurora, memories he had forgotten but remebering now.

The necklace Anise got is the hag eye and they now know their every move and can subetly or majorly affect them at opportunistic moments

Velvin is is the cory of glass and ahe will perform divination for a fee, or the ultimate divination withe the deck of many things, Velvin will also have an assistant, the missing changling daughter from grovistide but much older.

If the party fight there is a high probibilitynthey will all die. There will be oppitunity to prevent that, either fleeing or praying for mercy.

An Insight check of 21+ and a charisma save of 18+ will reveal to the character innprivate dm that this is an Arrakocra sorr of.
Wild shape will cause Ozrewlia to faulter and question if they are druids, depending on thier answer Ozrelia May lessen her hostility

Either way Ozrelia will allow them to leave the forrest that day they have time to reach a small village with an Inn to eat, rest, bathe.

After rest the party can keep going north or head to the city of glass where the witchlight carnival is currently doing a city festival for new ownership

Luke : Keenan/ Ken

Keenan grew up in a loving family, a mother, father and 3 siblings. He started his adventuring career young, with his father and uncle. Both taught Keenan various things about survival and training his body, while enjoying the world around them. He particularly enjoyed learning about nature and the energies of the world, which lead him to develop a magical connection with the plants and animals.

When his father wasn't adventuring, or going somewhere he deemed too dangerous for Keenan, Keenan would play with his siblings and help his mother run her shop. He loved those times and treasured his family dearly.

Despite this, Keenan never felt like he was able to properly communicate how he felt to others. His family knew he loved them dearly, but that didn't stop his frustration when he couldn't say the words he wanted or express his emotions. As the years went on, this frustration grew to anger and resentment towards himself. This would reach a breaking point when he would have to say good bye to his uncle but wasn't able to say anything to him. This lead to Keenan searching for extreme measures to 'cure' himself.

The plants and animals told him of a hag that lived nearby his mother's home, but warned against visiting her. Keenan ignored the warnings and ventured out by himself to meet the hag, who was located in some old nearby ruins. The hag offered to help him express himself more in exchange for old memories of him. Keenan accepted and, as most deals with hags go, the deal backfired horribly.

Keenan was transformed into a creature not native to this plane and he lost his connection to the nature around him but instead felt a magical connection with the hag. He took some of the hag's magic for himself and lashed out at the hag, who teleported away. When he returned to his family, none of them recognised him or had any memories of Keenan existing at all. Keenan returned to the ruins and investigated, learning that the hag and her magic was tied to the Feywilds and that he would need someone experienced in the knowings of the Feywild to reverse it. Keenan decided the best way to undo the curse is to look for a way into the Feywild and find someone experienced enough to undo his transformation and return his family's memories. And if he could hunt down the hag he made a deal with, all the better…

The hag is free, I don't have any special ideas for her so I'll leave her to you. Who she is, why she was in the normal realms, why she made a deal with Keenan, I'll leave that all up to you. You have some fun and great ideas so go nuts!

Keenan's priority's are, in order: Remove the memory loss Remove the transformation curse Get revenge on the hag Explore and learn about the Feywild.

I want to play Keenan as someone who is willing to explore and learn about the Feywild, but is cautious about making important deals with people as he has already been burned.

So quick summary of background characters and ideas I had while thinking about Keenan. Family Characters: Dad = Quill Mom = Silky (they aren't married, more like co-parenting) I imagine she is a cool mom, she doesn't yell or hit you if you misbehave just mastered the “I am not angry just disappointed” Look. But she is absolutely terrifying if you touch her clothes/equipment. Siblings = Other orphans from Brovaria I cannot remember any of tehir names other than XXF Uncle = Balore, I imagine Quill and Balore took Ken around on their adventures while searching for a way to get Balore home. They eventually did find a way home for him but as they were saying goodbye Ken just cried and chirped but felt like he couldn't communicate what he wanted to before Balore left. Might know Elicia (Sam's big booba snake lady) as the wine aunt if permitted.

My idea of the memory loss is that there is a mental block over the memories and everything that belonged/reminded them of Ken is invisible to them. With the story, Keenan doesn't have to transform back into a Kenku at the end if the story doesn't allow it. Even if he does, will he be able to talk like he wanted to when he made the deal, or will he be back to only being able to mimic noises?

Keenan is also a Bard/Warlock multiclass, where the Warlock part of his powers come from the Hag as a part of their deal. If you want to play around with the powers, such as if the hag knows we are coming after her maybe some of the spells don't work etc.

Elmer: Arno Figures in the forgotten realms lore would include deities like; Torm, a god of courage and self sacrifice - brought to light from that paladin Arno trained under Eldath, goddes of peace Oghma, god of knowledge Tiamat, dragon goddes of evil Moradin, dwarven god of creation Lolth, drow goddess of spiders (Arno would know more about this being a drow and brought up upon tales of this religion/ figure) etc etc It's not a case where Arno is gonna know everything under the sun about every religion. There is a squadron of Bullywog warriors lead by Maru yin, they are heading too the Thorn throne but also have a side quest to find te cursed sword that the party found at Mystery Keep.

The partner of Elidion named Ladila resides in this location. However when the party get there they find a unicorn centuar instead looking very bored.
Lidica is her name and she explains that she is watchig over the pool until her mother gets back. But the Hag skabatha has taken her mother away and Lidica does not have the pwoer to get her back.
She explains she was just rather lazy and hasn't given the rescue effort much thought.

Ladila is currently cursed and kept in SKabatha's workshop, beig turned into a wooden rocking horsce. Is skabatha is convinced to let her go or ouright killed the curse will be roken and Ladia will retur to the wayward pool. saying she will have a reward for the party when they get there.

Was gonna be a boss fight with 4 phases each based off the seasons, changing the terrain and abilities but i dunno now. close to the end of the campain and the story here isn't so interesting for the final act.

The Thorn throne still lives on with a resistance of people located in various areas.

A majority of their people are in the thorn throne, With the help of The Black Albertross they are rebuilding a settlement. while another more radical group is trying to bring down Jardins and bring the royalty of The Thorn throne back to lead.

A Group of Thorn throne soldiers are acting as an undergroud resistance within JArdins. they plan to use the Jabberwocky to assassinate Orlender the petal dragon

Assassination: Plan

The plan is to use a very rare flower as a gift to the petal dragon and then let te jabberwocky loose when she has her guard down

Obtain a Jabberwocky
The Jabberwocky is not a normal creature, it is a force, a curse. It happens to Mortals who break a deal with Fey. Depending on how dependant the deal was results in the strength of the Jabberwocky curse.

  • Black Albatross have picked a suitable candidate for a strong curse however the Hag of nightmares broke into thier dungeon and stole Arno's mother away and is now currently hiding her location

  • Black Albertross make un-warranted contact with Red Dragon Raishin and make a deal, They give her greater power in exchange for her locating Arno's mother and returning her to Black Albertross.
    • Arno's mother located in the shadowfell Pit, Raishin Went there after the party returned and they made camp for the night. In the night she went on one of her 'Hunting Trips' to obtain Arno's mother from the makeshift prison she was in down in the pit. sealing her in a capture vile
  • Black Albatross have successfully created a Jabberwocky using Arno's Mother but it got loose and the black albertross are currently trying to capture it.
  • With Raishin's help they manage to capture it during the night of DATE
  • Black Albertross have captured the Jabberwocky and are now transporting it into the capital via underground tunnels where it will be handed off to te Thorn throne resistance

The real princess is currently hidden away in the mortal plane however the Black ALbertross have a plan to use a lookalike in her place. They know of Roviro's Twin sister who was last known to be in the Necrosis dead lands. a party is sent to scout the player party and find Roviro's sister

  • on day DAY the group made contact with Raishin unwilingly they said be on the look out for this person and in exchange for getting the leader out in the open
  • Raishin supplied the Black Albertross with Roviro's sister as the look alike, She matches both looks and personality.
    In Exhange the small group of soldiers promised to have thier leader come out of hiding so Raishin may get her chance of Revenge. (This is not Time limited, This will trigger when it needs too)
  • Session 32: Roviro's twin sister is currently being transported to the new settelment where she will be brainwashed and turned into the princess for the people, They will travel in Underground tunnels, meeting up with the resistance. (This will take 7 Days)

    • The Party will encounter visions of the last moments of the thorn throne, the death of King Magnus and the Prince. Princess *ade*'s insane rampage through the castle. Her encounter with Maru Yin
  • Encounter with the past
    • The Mad Princess's sword is left stabbed in the stone body of the king and it radiates cursed energy. Approaching the sword will trigger a shade of the princess to spawn and combat will initated.
    • The Mad Thorn Sword (Stats). If a creature tried to grab the sword they must make a charisma saving throw (DC 23) on a fail they are possessed. On success they become awear of the swords possessive nature but are forever immune to it.

The effects of the war are still felt strongly by the nation of the Thorn Throne. Its borders all but dissolved as they live without a real ruler. Some Fey have stoop up to become Sudo-Leaders and assistance from the human mercenary army knonw as Band of the Black Albatross have assisted in establishing some small sense of community and order. There are no plans to start a new war simply rebuild what they lost.

There is a power struggle between two of the Fey Sudo Leaders. One being a bit miss managed and the other being rather forcful.

Aid Given to the refugees
If aid is given to the refugees correctly and properly (And the Black Albertross is removed) the nation of the thorn throne will bless the party's name with a Boon Title. Also Tami Will have the opportunity to establish herself as a leader figure for this new albeit smaller nation of the Thorn Throne.

  • If the Black ALbertross Remains then the leader of that group will become sudo-leader and hero to the nation able to remodle the thron throne in thier image.

If Aid is only partially given then the Nation will eventually rebuild as a community city but no dramatic acolages will be granted.

If no aid is given or the party takes actions to hinder the nation then its people will dissolve the nation and either seek refuge in other settlements or jardins but the nation of the Thorn throne will cease.

Raishin's Cover story is that she has come to the Feywild to find her sister that was kidnapped by the Black ALbertross after they burrned down her home town. Saying thier leader was salty and wanted to prove his power over Raishin
In reality the story is much more complicated.
it was Raishin he destroyed that town Raishin’s First Job Story. and the Black Albertross had been hired to get revenge on “the beast that destroyed our town” but they knew who it was and so with money and purpose Black Albertross killed her adoptive family as revenge on behalf of the town.
Feeling utter betrayal she swore to slaughter everyone who wore that sigil and has come to the Feywild to do just that.

The Black Albatross Has an overall if contravetial identity. Being assistant in many major events but normally expect payment or power within communities or nations they assist.

Riashin's Rage
If Raishin lays eyes on the leader of the Black Albertross she will go into a mindless bloodfury targeting only the leader and will tear him and a majority of the other leaders of the mercenary group apart, Slowly. This will mkae the remaining members hostile to Raishin and the rest of the group if they remain traveling with her.

  • Knock on effects
  • Depending on when this happens the mercenary group will begin to fall apart and attept to retreat from their refugee efforts leaving the people of the Thorn Throne with little support. at this point it would be impossible for the party alone to establish aid.

    • A Deal with a Hag, A wish from the Arch Fey, Epilogue establishing connections with the mortal world. Attempting to force control over the remaining Black Albertross

  • Day 3: After the Hole dive, Perception 15, Survival 21: Raishin goes back down into the shadowfell pit during that night's 'Hunting Trip' to capture Arno's Mother who was on the far side in a makeshit prison, she uses one of the capture Viles given to her by Black Albertross.
  • Day 4: Perception 24, Survival 11: Finds scouts of the Black Albertross. She confronts them and threatens their lives unless they tell her what they are doing, (Intimidation 31) they spill the beans wetting themselves.
    • Raishin learns that the Black albertross is stalking the party and reporting thier every move to the commander.
    • Raishin learns that the commander is currently in the land of the thorn throne helping rebuild that nation for a price.

    • Raishin learns the Black Albertross is i the process of obtaining a powerful creature that the throne throne intends to use against Jardins, What the creature is and how they use it specificly is not known by these scouts (Raishin Doesnt know Arno's MOther will be used for a Jaber Wocky)
    • Raishin lets the scouts live and makes a deal with them, As they are pretty high ranking Raishin says she will supply the 'Mad Princess” they have been looking for in echange for them getting thier leader to come out into the open for her chance to slaughter him. They accept. Raishin tells them to not mention any of what has happened that night. continue on as if se never found them
  • Day 5: Perception 17, SUrvival 17. Raishin keeps an eye on the albertross but does not find any food. SHe returns to camp and asks Tami for some food.

Session 31

Raishin has captured Arno's Mother from the pit and Roviro's Sister who had been turned into a Displacer beast and let loose in the necrosis lands. and offered them to a small group of the black albertross army in exchange for getting the leader out in the open and fufiling her end of the deal to get her dragon form.

Tami returns to her home of the Thorn Throne to find it in ruins, Recovering slowly but not well from the war. With its leaders and heritage dead a power vacuum has formed.
There are a few leaders rising among the ash but it seems the leader of the Black ALbertross is winning the hearts of the people. if nothing is done then the nation may fall to a leader of a mercenary group.

But there are also rumours of a resistance within Jardins, hell bent on revenge for the destruction of their land. Its certainly not the wisest move but they seem to have a plan. Tami can choose to aid this resistance, Quell it or leave it alone.

Roviro is a patriot od the Thorn Throne. he wants to rebuild the nation putting te last surviving royalty back on the throne.

The Current Princess is hidden in the overworld however Black ALbertross is using Roviro's sister as a look alike to put her as the new queen of the thorn throne

Roviro's Sister

Roviro has a twin sister who is alot crazy.

Roviro's Twin sister went to the hag Skabatha when Roviro went missing. In an attempt to ask her for help, but her naivity meant that she was turrned into a DIsplacer beasts and sent out into Jardin's to capture Skabatha's enimies.

During Raishin's Hunts she attacked one of the displacer beasts and found it turned into a person. Raishin botle this person up in one of the sealing philes.

She has been captured by Raishin and offered to a small group of Black Albetross to get the leader out in the open.

If the party are all defeated rather than kill them outright we fade to black as thier bodies wash out to sea and are found by Orc fishermen. Who bring them back to the island.

They will loose a considerable ammount of thier inventory.

Evidence of the Jabberwocky

The party will stumble upon a grissely sight, several shattered stone bodies as well as claw marks along the trees and ground, as well as a strange black flame that doesn't seem to spread or give off heat

Stalking by the Black ALbertross

Members of the black albertross are stalking the party, reporting their every move since little oak back to the commander. If the party back-track a day's journey and make a Perception check of 15 or higher they will find fresh huminoid tracks.

The Town has many facilities avalible, Job boards, Tavern, general stores, safe workshops, Blacksmiths and a location to hear some rumours. est prepare, restock and relax a bit before continuing on the road.
Anaise is having a Triangle made which will take a few days.
Rudy wants to start making some potions or magic items which may take a very long time depending on what he makes.

The party have expressed a desier to visit the hag Skabatha at her workshop in Gloomlurch It will be a long trip and possibly a long interaction.
Smoker knows Trigger has some sort of run in with Skaatha and is currently his best lead and finding out were he is.
Gimbelorn wants some information he reckons Skabatha might know
the party in general know that Skabtha is the source of the Redcap Gnomes who have been harrasing te locals and kidnapping children.
The party also in general know Skabatha was an Ex-member of the Hourglass covern and surrely knows some helpful information.

Rudy and Gimbelhorn have expressed a desier to want to return to Mystery Keep where the party slayed the nightmare hag Davilok. they want to speek to the Libriarian Elisia and see if she has any books avalible to answer some questions they may have.
There is also that cursed sword and Mushroom warrior the party have yet to deal with.

Anaise has a big desire to learn more about the special event that will be happening soon in the JArdin's capital. a three day event involving a play, a ball and a dinner, not specifically in that order. She needs to get ready, not only herself but the rest of the party as something tells me this will involve the entire party (THIS IS THE MAIN QUEST)

Death Dan'es fortune lays just off the coast of (Where ever is convienint) an Uber boss with little to no sway on the state of the world or story is simply a massive combat scenario with the promise of death or loot.

Caligos has expressed a want for a new upgrade to his chain, perhaps the mayour may be able to help. Te mayour also has that spear that Caligos has been tasked with returning to Velvin Luanier for some time. finally he lays eyes on it but is it te real deal? how much will it be? what will he have to do to obtain that spear?!

Altough the party left on rather awkward terms with the Unicorn Eldion, there has been some sort of half promise to check on his wife the Unicorn located and Wayward pool La.

The party has herd about some sort of Torn throne resistance within the Capital, that will be something they may have to involve themselves with no doubt.

The parties ultimate goal is to get to the far east coast of Jardins and cross the sea once again to reach what is left of the Thorn Throne Nation where some paths will come to an end one way or another. but to cross the sea is no easy feat, even if the party speedran righ ot ht eharbour i doubt they would be able to so simply board a boad and set sail.

Book of Bound Souls

This book holds the many research notes upon the manipulation of mortal souls. Written by a powerful unnamed necromancer of sorts who documented all their years of research into one tome. Its in remarkable condition given its supposed age.

The book talks about the essence of a soul, its ability to be transferred and placed into objects, other bodies and even used as a fuel source. Most standard things known by any high level spell caster, Spells like Clone, Soul Jar even the knowledge of Lichdom is an uncommon subject for the arcane. Though all this is rather easy to understand the difficult part is welding a high enough level of power to be able to carry out these various tasks and with the rather unstable nature of a mortal soul it is the definition of 'Easier said than done'

It talks about a few different topics such as the rules a Soul follows.

A Mortal soul will always want and try to return to its living original body IF its loose. (There is an Astrix on this statement)

A Mortal soul that is inside an object or another body dose not have the power on its own to leave willingly.

Souls are almost impossible to remove from a living body

Souls cannot freely cross dimensional planes if loose. This means if a Soul's living body is on a different plane of existence it won't be able to return

If A Soul is inside a living body that's not its own Death does NOT return it to the original, rather it passes into the afterlife as normal.

Soul trapping.

As a reaction, you can snatch the soul of a humanoid as it dies within 60 ft. of you and trap it on a blank page of this book. A stolen soul remains inside the book indefinitely unless you tear out the page OR destroy the book, which releases every soul tapped inside.

Anyone who opens the book will see the soul standing before them based on what page they turned to. The soul always looks the way the creature did when it died.

Hag Philosophy
The Book is rotten, The pages yellow and growing mold, with a giant eye in its center just tempting the reader to open it.

The Book is a detailed encyclopedia of Hag philosophy.
It talks about how Hags are birthed. various common practices they do to enhance their power. the art of a deal with mortals and how they use the magic. No one section goes into great detail but the range of topics covered is vast. Its defiantly the 'Basics'.
Reading through the book you feel sick. First its just discomfort, stomach churning, Stinging eyes. then as you spend more time with it it feels like bugs are crawling under your skin. you find open sores bleeding on your arms and legs. you taste iron, your mind is foggy and if you hadn't lost your lunch yet, you have now.

This is not information mortals should know, Yet it may be what your looking for. You would have to spend time decrypting its philosophy and learning its secrets. and this is just the basics. there is surly more books out there that may give deeper forbidden knowledge. but this is the beginning of your fetid path.

There was a large amount of loot in the well cave that was completely missed due to the party simply not investigating the area or looting any bodies.

  • Wrath Loot: In the east corner of the first room were 3 wraiths guarding a pile of 1d6 Gemstones (Minimum 300G, Max 5000G) with a guaranteed 10K diamond
  • Goblin Loot: Each Goblin was armed with a +1 Short Sword and the archers a +1 Bow. These cannot be sold but are for characters lacking inventory

Arno's Mother's prison Down in that section of the shadowfell were remains of the prison camp that Arno's mother was kept in. Investigation or history checks from party members who knew arno higher than 13 would have revealed this information as well as some jars of Drow Posion and a shattered talismin resembling the one Arno carried.

I wana design tis map like the Baulder's Gate 3 camp map, Leaving areas blank for thier characters to claim. A little raised area, a river, a small bridge going to some ruins.

Border Setelemnt on Jardins

This is a eneric setelment, there is a gernaerl supplies store and an Inn, a few other houses i would like 3 to be furnished.
