+Karel was born to the Northstar family, a minor noble house in Oxtrad one acclaimed for their ancestors actions in helping establish trade routes between Oxtrad and other nations, bringing vital supplies to the cold nation. However as the years have past (Might be decades, might be centuries depending on the timeline) the family's influence and importance has waned in a combination of other families making better business decisions and the Northstar's mismanging their affairs. At this point, they are a noble house purely on the efforts of their ancestors.
