Owyn is an elderly wizard who enjoys teaching at [[faction:remon_academy|Remon's Academy]] where he holds the position of Master of Evocation & Abjuration. His work tends to mean he's managing the other professors more than teaching. Owyn always finds time to help those in need and willing to learn, repaying the free lessons taught to him in his youth.

====Pre-Campaign====
Born and raised in Octavius in the Sera Sand-Sea, Oxtrad. The [[time:ashlem_war|Ashlem War]] started when he was 11, seeing the mages go to the South and returning with grand tales of their power, he took great interest in the arcane. Owyn received little formal training learning what the mages passing through could share and when there were none around burried his head in books. When he was 17 the portals to the hells opened. On his 18th birthday he enlisted to the Oxtrad army becoming an apprentice war mage.

The war ended when he was 32 leaving him highly decorated by both Oxtrad and Covania. Remon's Academy in Sunwood, Covania reached out to him offering the position of 'Head of Evocation', after a decade he became the Master of Evocation & Abjuration. Now in his 80s with no plans for retiring despite being able to for at least the last two decades, he has embraced those around him giving and aiding wherever he can.

====Blackfyre====
In 12337 a small un-named village West of [[town:Ayeshencliff]] reached out to Owyn requesting aid to stop an incoming horde of orcs, Owyn accepted. Recruiting some adventurer's promising them entry and property within Sunwood they accepted, the group held off the horde long enough for the villagers to escape.

Since the event [[faction:blackfyre|Blackfyre]] and Owyn have worked closely helping each other with various jobs.
