Introduction

Description
Theren is a lithe, 5'8 tall shadar-kai elf. He has pale, light blue skin and short white hair. While under the Servitude of Queen Wellington, Theren has taken a semi-transparent, almost wraith-like, appearance in his undeath.
Will put an image in once have figured out how

Personality
Quiet and calm, Theren prefers to take a stoic, hands-on approach to tasks and letting his body talk when he is around strangers or those he does not have reason to trust, holding himself open and relaxed when being kind, or using force when not neccessary when angry or troubled. Those who gain his trust meet a less restrained Theren who likes to play pranks.
Theren holds a pessimistic view of the world, easily believing negative things about individuals, but firmly holds that everyone be given a fair chance. Once that chance is given however, anything is fair game.
First impressions count alot for Theren. Negative impressions could sour any potential relationship while positive ones count for less but could build a lifelong beneficial relationship.

Pre-Campaign

Background Abandoned by his parents at a young age, Theren was raised in a monastery. In order to expand his view of the world beyond the monastery, Theren's master sent him out into the world to become an adventurer. During his time as an adventurer he made several lifelong friends and returned to the monastery to complete his mastery exam. After becoming a master, Theren left to provide aid to towns on the border between Corvonia and Oxtrad that were suffering monster attacks and bandit raids.
In 12209, after clearing out a monster stronghold in the now Fiery Borderlands, Theren converted the stronghold into the Monastery of the Sun's Grace, a safe refuge for travellers, traders and pilgrims. As time went on Theren began training students, some even becoming masters, and the monastery grew to include a small trading post; but was attacked by monsters and bandits expecting easy prey but were promptly defeated by Theren.
After the breakout of the Ashlem War in 12264, the monastery became flooded by the increased number of refugees and more bandits became desperate enough to attack the monastery to survive. As the war went on the monastery was driven to it's limits and fell in 12267. Theren died fighting the hordes to allow his students time to escape.
After his death Theren's soul was taken to serve the Raven Queen in the Shadowfell, as with all Shadar-Kai, he abandoned his thoughts of his past life and focused on serving the Raven Queen in her siege of the undead. After many years, Theren's soul was ripped back to the Material Plane against his will and he was brought back as an undead monstrosity. Theren now aims to use his new lease on life to continue his previous work, but worries about what his new living condition could mean to the Raven Queen.
