====Pre-Campaign====
Vaughan's childhood in Graycott is unremarkable, his mother a slave meant he too was a slave. It wasn't until he had met [[character:maleny|Maleny]] in their teens, the two plotted to flee with Sunwood in their sights, they found [[character:dazran|Dazran]], [[character:idris|Idris]], and [[character:dance|Dance]] and fled Graycott.

Reaching Sunwood many went their own ways but Vaughan and Maleny (Now known as Ansley) kept in contact working together. Ansley gathering information at the Torment of Claws and Vaughan working his way up a then small adventuring and mercenary guild call the Silver Band. Vaughan grew the guild and became its leader establishing it as the go to place in search of work or in need of hiring someone.

Although he is the boss, he isn't afraid to do work. If he sees any jobs that intrigue him he'll often use his position to claim the job. His prior work and derring-do has given him chances to visit the elemental planes with a sorcerer, travel across the continent to fight dragons and much more.
