Though //Vaylith// sees to change that outlook. though she left the city walls she didn't go far her home being within the small settlements just outside the cities walls. the first years were rough but now she is a well known name among the //Drow//. | | **A Forgotten Culture Re-Taught** \\ |
| | the culture of //Drow// has been twisted over the centuries. up until recently most //Drow// only knew the worst they were capable of. Slavers who raided the surface and were in constant civil war with one another. That all changed with //Vaylith's// teachings. Giving a voice to those //Drow// who were afraid to speak up before. She stated teaching the settlements outside the city wall of the old culture of //Drow// the celebrations had, the songs their people would sing and it quickly caught hold. People no matter their background long for calm and joy, when show that there was a time that was the normal, made them want it again. Its not been without pushback and friction, especially from //Ridorana's// sister cities but progress is grand considering the state of things. |

| | Returning to the Underdark after the events of //Whispers of the wilds// was a long time coming. Vaylith never wanted to be stuck there for so long let alone get roped into the plot between 'nations'. But now she was home. The Darkness was a cool welcome, the stagnent air was the smell of home. \\ |
| | the [[town:ridorana|Drow City of Ridorana]] seemed the same as ever. Infact even more lively than when she left. The Gates were open with a que of carts looking for entry. It brought a smile to Vaylith, Glade that the efforts of the Drow have started to really take hold, Changing the culture back to what it used to be. Not of xenophobic violence, but a proud people of hunters, craftsmen and stories. |

| This is also a good place to post updates to campaigns your character may have played in. If you are like me you may want to take the same character through multiple campaigns and having a log of their adventures can go a long way to making them feel special. | But Vaylith would not enter the city walls. She could not. Being a //Drider// she was exiled, Though not able to enter the city itself the leaders were not so heartless as to banish her from their land. Many Drow, exiled from the city simply live just outside the walls or on the outskirts. It is a punishment but one down of necessity rather than bitterness. With the sister Drow Cities becoming more like //Ridorana// it will soon be an idea for the Exiled to simply move to one of the other cities , learning from their mistakes and starting something new. Though Vaylith was for too proud to leave now. |

The Ceiling of the caverns was low here so it felt more secure, more cozy. With a perfect view of //Ridorana's// front gate and walls. about a 10 minuet walk way. the cavern here was very open and the major tunnel to the mortal plane was not far away. |

| | Though the sign on her Pharmacy read 'Closed' in Elvish. there was movement inside. Vaylith's assistants. SHe was surprised they had stuck around. The Doors and in turn the whole building was massive, Built with much larger proportions in mind, Being a Drider she had her home built to her specifications. Much of the house can be opened up, the walls folding away to allow far easier movement for a spider lady. a flick of her wrist and a word of arcane in elvish the doors unlocked and swayed wide open to welcome their master. \\ |
| | Inside the sound rushed footsteps approached. Two //Red-Cap Gnomes// stumbling over each other, Snickering and spiting words of venom at eachother until they came before Vaylith and both fell to 1 knee almost instantly. Welcoming her home. |
