That's if you even get to the other side. All manor of twisted creatures and Fey reside in the darkness of the canopy, Not to mention the wailing Maiden of the woods. If you hear the soft lulls of a maiden's voice best say your final words.//

-Dark highly packed forest that acts as a gateway between the north Alps and the rest of the Feywild lands.
+A stretch of woodland spanning hundreds of miles in the //Feywild//. the trees that grow here are taller than most others, thick trucks and dark bark. Roots litter the forest floor making travel difficult, its best to stick to the roads. \\
+The Trees have thick wide spanning canopies that overlap with each-other letting sparce little light in though its normally still possible to tell between day and night. But some records show that those who went too deep found a lack of light completely.
+The trees are thousands of years old, Many of the oldest //Fey// say the trees have been part of the //Feywild// since the beginning. Its know that the trees within the woods move on their own, occasionally migrating to new locations or acting to attack or trap unfortunate travellers. \\
+There are a number of odd trees that have been sighted by those successfully traveling through the woods, describing them as twisted malformed [[culture:folklora|Treeants]]. These trees leak a black sludge like sap at a slow but consistent rate that has unknown effects.
+Keeping to the roads is a common tip by many //Fey// of the //Feywilds// though that is easier said then done when going through the //Wailing Woods//
+The Woods divide //Thither// between the northern land where the [[town:glass_city|City of Glass]], [[location:giant_alps|The Alps of the Giants]] and many other locations can be found, and the rest of the region.
+Guides recommend not sleeping during the two day trip through the forest. Sleep within the woods are plague with visions, nightmares causing paranoia or madness. Those of weak will may find themselves bewitched by the woods.
+Its said there are some settlements within the Woods but attempts to prove this information has progressed little. Whatever is to live on such a desecrated land surely has no love for mortal life.
+A widely accepted fact is that there is a hunter stalking the woods. luring travellers away with a visage of a helpless lady or child only to be met with a twisted Fey locals call //Abyss Eater//. If you simply ignore the vision and stay on the road no harm may come.
