Gatiby Jungle

Named after TEXT, the Gatiby Jungle spans a large potion of Covania's southern region and spans to the southern most shores of the continent of Mor-Thir.
The Jungle is thick and not well travelled, Many main roads in this region stick to the coast lines where the trees have thinned out. Only a few main roads pass through the jungle itself but they have been heavily developed over years with many trees being chopped down and removed as people carved a path through the thick jungle.

The Jungle is a world of its own. Coming from the mostly Desert lands of the rest of Covania to these southern regions is almost like stepping through a portal

The Jungle is dangerous for the ill prepared. Home to a variety of powerful beasts on the prowl for easy food or more sinister creatures looking to capitalize on traveling commoners.
a notorias group of bandits live and prowl the jungle as well, Though the group is small they are well experienced and equipped. its often recommended to bring along a bribe or offering if you cannot hire strong enough muscle to guard your jungle travels.
Another option is to join the convoys. Travellers join up in convoys every few days to travel as a group along the main roads through the jungle were guards from the nearby towns and cities are provided as escort as well as the general safety in numbers.

The Main roads are well known, well travelled and so often targeted, So some travellers and merchants opt for a less known path through the jungle, Being too stingy to hire proper protection they would rather take the risk with the jungle itself.
There are many smaller paths through the jungle but all are dangerous, Even the trees and Plants here could be out to get you

“Well why not we be rid of the bandits then?! Send in a search party and hunt them down!”

There have been many attempts in tracking down the bandits and expunging them from the Region for good but every attempt thus far has not reached its goal. Party's have gone missing in the trees while other attempts were not 100% successful, And even if a purge was done completely, there would surely be new bandits to take up the opportunity now that a position was open.

• Primarily a logging town on the edge of the jungle, A Key point of rest for travellers in the region and a big export of the resources found in the Gaitby Jungle, Resources often sent further south to Haanrey for further export across the sea.
  The town here is rich in culture around the Gaitby Jungle with many Druids making the journey to partake in the town's traditions. Despite the towns logging economy they have made the practice as eco-friendly to the environment as possible.

Summerset Isle A Location found off the coast of the city of Haanrey. a large island with a collection of smaller islands all relatively isolated from the rest of the nation of Covania
Its known for being the only location were a community of Firbolg call home, normally a Feywild dwelling people in the material plane a large community of them are born and live in the Summerset isle.
