Auril, Otherwise known as //The Frost Maiden// her influence has been known since mortals began to walk the land, Cold harsh Blizzards, Terrible thunderous storms all matter of bad weather normally falls to her name to blame. \\
Though Auril has not always been the Goddess of Storms. The owner has changed once or twice over the millennia ad its about to change again.

During Auril's reign her influence was most known in the nations of [[faction:Athein]] and [[faction:Oxtrad]] where the lands were bombarded with harsh tempest storms, Blizzards and Hurricanes. It made the people of these nations all the stronger for it and it came to be a sign of pride among these people.

However in the past few years her influence has vanished. Though her followers still share her power her prayers go unanswered and her influence no longer felt. Unknown to most Auril had fallen in battle against one of the last [[culture:jotun|Storm Giants]], The details unknown but her remains lay in the blizzard swept lands of [[faction:Athein]] Or at least they did until a [[culture:hag|Hag Coven]] began to interfere with the laws of the realms, Causing parts of the mortal plane, and the [[planes:Feywild]] to bleed together. \\ 
Her remains ending up in the [[location:giant_alps|North Alps]] of the //Feywild//.

With Auril gone their now sits an empty throne, already movement has begun to fill it. One humble Half-Elf on a Quest to retrieve it at the behest of a //Silver Dragon//.

A group of adventures known as [[faction:thundering_horns|Thundering Horns]] trespassed upon Auril's grave on behalf of the //Silver Dragon// looking to take Auril's domain. They broke through her storm barrier, defeated the remnants of her power, broke through her shield and claimed her still beating heart. To return this offering to the //Silver Draon// and claim the reward. \\ But not only that they claimed a powerful artifact that was hidden among //Auril's// bones.
