 +You all are standing just inside the town walls created by Merric over the past week. The cold of the new winter nights clearing, the weather is clear and would be peaceful if it weren't for the rising tension in the air, and the looming threat. The scouts who have now been pulled back and observers on the island report that Miguel's forces are a half hour away as an exhausted Hope, Merric & Kriv ride into town, startling some troops who are on edge. The folk who have methods of transport have ridden out of town, while others have blocked up their homes. the Tiefling folk have been moved to the monastery. Your commanders Caelynn, Riker, Val, & Roland are gathered with you. Val ushers over the new arrivals.

 +====Movement====
 +**Thu morning**\\
 +Duke and troops attempt to march into Ruststille, they do not attack unless attacked first. If they enter the town peacefully they will try capture arresting high ranking Tiefling troops and hold public executions or kill them if the individual fights back or someone tries stopping them. Until attacked by a unit they will continue this, if Rebellion orders an attack or attack the Duke this starts the fight.

 +====Executions====
 +The War Mage and Miguel try to provoke and gauge the reaction of the Rebellion and get them to attack first so Miguel can claim that the Rebellion instigated fighting.

 +The War Mage and 2 guards drag out Val, one of the commanders. A blue Tiefling wearing Rebellion armour, he looks to be mid 40s, there's fear in his eyes but putting on a brave face. He's trying to shake off the Lizardfolk soldiers dragging him out of a building into the central community area, they make a display of gathering people while waiting for the Duke. If the group try to talk to Val a guard will quickly butt in and say "If you speak demon you'll die here and now". He looks towards the group and stays quiet.

 +The Duke arrives, a wooden block stained blood red on the top with scouring across the surface is placed in front of Val. A large shirtless and ripped human stands next to the Tiefling and block, wielding two battle axes, but as you take a closer look he isn't holding them, his hands have been replaced by the axes. Cleaver.

 +A generic looking knight, covered in armour preventing the view of any defining personal features stands behind the Tiefling. Maximus Genericus.

 +Standing next to the War Mage looks to be a man in long dark robes, keeping an eye on people that are close to the scene before you. Vincent. On the other side is another man, he has many belts and pouches, the tools that aren't covered look to be common implements used for torture, he is keeping any eye ontop of buildings and more distant folks with a bow at the ready. Randy.

 +Miguel stands on the opposite side of the block to large brute of a man, you can see he is straining a grin through his half burnt face,((Burnt muscles have constricted causing pain and strain)) his hand on his sword, still sheathed. Miguel ignores any threats or calls from the group unless they move forward or attack.\\ "Well, this is a bigger crowd than Naporia. Lets get right to it. By the power given to me by King Solomon Walterus the Righteous of the Reton Empire and leader of the Royal Conglomerate. I sentence this outlawed Tiefling to death." He turns to the axed hand man and the knight and gives a nod. The Knight pushes Val down so his head and neck are on the block. You hear him mutter. "See you in hell devil"

 +The axe swings down and with a snapping crunch, the head of the Tiefling falls off the block and straight onto the dirty ground, blood spilling out being absorbed by the sand and dirt. Miguel looks at the body, then his men. "Gather more, today is going to be busy." Turns to the group and crowd "Your smarter than the lot at Naporia."

 +======Warfare quick guide======
 +  - Distribute the units among players 
 +  - On a player’s turn, they may issue one order to a fresh allied unit.
 +  - Enemy units act on Miguel (Garrison), Maximus (Infantry), and End of Round (Archers)
 +  - **Exhaustion**
 +    - Issuing an order to a unit exhausts it.
 +    - An exhausted unit cannot carry out an order again until it is refreshed.
 +    - All units begin the battle refreshed. 
 +    - Once all units are exhausted, all units are immediately refreshed.
 +  - **Availability**
 +    - Infantry: Cannot be attacked by infantry while levies are on the field.
 +    - Archers: Cannot be attacked by infantry or levies while allied infantry is still on the field.
 +  - **Attack**
 +    - Roll a d20 and add your unit’s Attack bonus. 
 +    - If the result equals or exceeds the defending unit’s Defense, the attack succeeds, which prompts a Power check
 +    - Nat 20 applies as normal, skip to Power check
 +  - **Power Check**
 +    - Roll a d20 and add your unit’s Power bonus. 
 +    - If the result equals or exceeds the defending unit’s Toughness, you inflict a casualty!
 +    - Decrement the defender’s casualty die by one.
 +    - If its casualty die already shows 1 and takes a casualty, remove the unit from the battle unless it is rallied.
 +  - **Rally**
 +    - Any unit that would be removed from battle can be rallied. Their commander makes a DC 15 Morale check.
 +    - On a success, the unit remains in the battle with its casualty die at 1, but it cannot be rallied again. 
 +    - On a failure, the unit is removed from battle.
 +  - **Diminished**
 +    - Once a unit loses half its size—for example, if its d6 casualty die reads 3 or less—it is diminished.
 +    - Each time it suffers a casualty while diminished, it must make a DC 15 Morale check.
 +    - If it fails, it immediately suffers another casualty.
