This heavy two (2) handed sword was said to be a communitive piece that marked a long awaited peace between two waring factions. The Great-sword needs two hands to wield effectively due to its weight but it isn't very sharp as it was made to be an item of peace not war.
It does offer the wielder magical boosted skill with the art of a bow but it must be wielded to be effective. quite the design oversight.
