The two fled into the far reaches of the Ashlem Rise to hide themselves and the virus. Over the months following infection and return Johm slowly fell to the virus, Saphira grew physically weak but psionics grew strong. The change was gradual, no switch was flipped but these days the pair are no longer themselves, their lair isolated but a fortress for the virus.
