Elemental Plane of Air
The Elemental Plane of Air seems to be an endless sky with no ground below, the clouds are dense enough to carry the weight of small birds or light objects. Small civilizations have been built on floating islands held up by Liridot. Liridot is a pale purple stone that floats by itself in the air and has no noticeable sign of losing power, there is only a finite supply of the stone but is most commonly used in boats making it possible to travel to each island.
Metalworking and magic are uncommon, but woodworking and ropemaking are very common. Most homes and boats are built with interlocking pieces of wood and then bound a basic plant-based glue and if required some rope.
