After Cinder left her family home in the eroded archipelago she journied to the southern forests of Covania where she found the pack of Blood Hunters she had been searching for. Finding them was one thing, trying to convince then to let a vampire join their ranks.
Image a rabbit asking the foxes to let it join and learn from them…it was a struggle but she was persistent. Weeks and weeks of trying to prove her worth and that her morals and a genders were in check, constant trials, questions and rejection eventually she earned a spot within the pack but her presence was certainly not welcomed by all.
Cinder trained as a Mutant Blood Hunter, the mutagens that were brewed were very similar to how potions are brewed which she had plenty of practice with. Mutagens were different however, requiring special Blood Hunter techniques and magic that nobody else would know, adding to that Mutagens were crafted in a way that only the brewer would gain any effects from consuming them. Knowing this Cinder decided to desperate her potions into glass bottles and Mutagens into glass viles.
An entire AMOUNTBOF TIME passed before she had learned all she was and became an official slayer, tasked to hunt down her own kin, Vampires that were too far gone from humanity to be saved.

Cinder spent much more time with her brother over her father, The time they shared helped shape her into the women she is today. Victalion always taught self confidence, the world is a stage and even if your not performing you should be something people want to look at.
Victalio was a showman through and through. He practiced smalls shows with Cinder and was always ready to make grand gestures. His sense of fashion also passed onto Cinder. When he left she wasn't sad and didn't cry cause she knew he would be fine and was doing what he wanted, he was her biggest insperation and only a few years later she left home herself
