A smooth seemingly polished shard of quartz between 30cm & 40cm in length. Normally the crystal is transparent like glass with simple natural minor imperfections on the surface or within the crystal

A polished piece of Quarts about a 35cm in length, The crystal is not see through with imperfections filling the crystal with odd patterns.
You can use this crystal to cast the message spell to any other holders of the crystal with an unlimited range, or to any creature in a 2 mile radius.
The crystal is not a secure means of communication, on every use the DM rolls a D6, on the result of a 1 the message is also given to all other messaging crystals, if the message was sent to a creature the message dose not reach, unknown to the user and cannot be used to send to the same creature for 24 hours
