Effect

• Make a melee spell attack against a target within 5 feet of you. On a hit, the target takes 200 poison damage. This damage ignores any resistance or immunity the creature has to poison damage, and can’t be reduced or prevented in any way. The potent poison lingers in the targets body and pulls it towards death. A target reduced to zero hit points by this poison damage automatically fails death saving throws until it finishes a long rest.
  A heal or greater restoration spell cast on the target also ends this effect.

At Higher Levels
