Changelings are a people wrapped in confusion, scandal and mystery. a very rare species with only a few hundred ever recorded at a single time its unknown if their numbers are because of a lack of population or a lack of truthfulness. As Changelings are able to warm their appearance to be almost anything with the same vague humanoid shape most tend to keep their lineage a secret and with no way to check outside strong magic or biometric testing the exact population of changelings in Felwind may remain a mystery forever.
Their history is one of much debate. with no current living and willing Changeling knowing much about their people's origins. Most believe they are the product of a divine rite of ascension. others believe their origins lie in the Feywild with the common phrase for a child stolen and replaced being 'Changeling'.

Dopple-Gangers
Changelings can also be known as Dopplegangers but its important to note that the term Doppleganger also references a changeling with heightened abilities. but Changeling Advanced sounded silly.
It has been recommended to refer to changelings as Dopplegangers due to the phenomenon of when Fey steal children and replace them they are called changelings.
Changling Sub Species
There are no known recordings of Changeling sub-species in Felwind
