This is a Special Weapon Magic item, Special weapons normally fall outside those listed in the D&D handbooks and so have unique stats and/or Requirements.

Vile Reach

• This weapon's reach can extend by 10ft (15ft Total) as a free action.

Unwilling Carnage

• When you take the attack action using this weapon, the weapon makes two more attacks against your will. Against the same target if it still lives or another target within its Vile Reach Range if not (Aside from the wielder of this weapon). These attacks are made separately but still use the wielder's stat bonuses.

This horrific weapon is an axe crafted from the body of a Dire Troll. Using the Troll's regeneration against itself the crafter has used twisted techniques and broken morals to force the Dire Troll into a living weapon of sorts.
However the Troll doesn't seem to mind so much, Sure the ordeal was painful but now it is a weapon to be used for slaughter.
