A Decently sized town located in the Harburns Woods in the nation of Covania

The town is well known for its affiliation with the major city Graycott, specifically its arena. Many people training for the various events held at Graycott spend their time in the town of Muralal, training and preparing for the events.

The ferry service between Graycott and Muralal is funded and overseen by the leader of Muralal

Due to the geography of the region much of the town is farm land, their crops and yeild would be very poor if not for deals made with Dryads in the area.

Though the town is on the smaller side it holds a large amount of wealthy nobles. Many of them say they make their money through the farming or investment into Graycott, but people suspect there is more going on.

Government & Leadership

For the longest time the town has been run and overseen by the Araxis Family. a Line of Nobles who have a long lasting linage of sorcerers. Notorias in the region for being rather elitist with their power and privlige.

All the town workers are on the Araxis Family payrole, the guards and the diplomats. They also have a large stake in Graycott revolving around the Greycott Arena and the events it holds.

Defence & Crime

The town is well protected with general walls and guards. Though the Araxis District is walled off on its own.

The Guards in town are all paid by the Araxis family and so their tolerances are based on what the Araxis Family tell them.

all towns have their general crime, pickpocketing, tavern brawls etc, But alot goes on inside the Araxis district walls that many are not a wear of.

Tavern

Almost guaranteed in every settlement no mater its size. In smaller areas may also double up as an Inn for the rare traveller/visitor.

Inn

Highly likely for settlements on well travelled roads. In smaller areas the In is usually party of a tavern. In larger towns and cities there is guaranteed to be one or multiple Inns available with varying levels of quality. Some may offer a bath house. some offer in house cleaning of cloths and equipment.

General Store

Highly likely for settlements of all kinds. normally the supplier to the town as well as visitors. Stock may vary on the size of the settlement and its location in the world.

Blacksmith

Common for settlements to have at least one smith depending on their size. Smaller more isolated settlements may be lacking a blacksmith while anything of a 'town' (1000 to 10,000) or bigger is almost guaranteed to have one.
All smiths are able to carry out basic repairs and forge basic equipment but for more advanced services such as refinement, enchanting or upgrades or special materials you may need to check with the towns smith if they are capable of more advanced work.
