The Map Master's Association & Post or M.M.A.P (MAP) as its referred to. Is a Massive international guild specialising in adventurers. Their culture pushes members to not only cross the borders of nations but cross into other planes to seek adventure, Exploration and most importantly, To catalogue your adventures and bring them back to share in the Guild.

The Guild started as a humble group of explores wanting to draw out the lands for others to see and over the years would expand into the household name it has become.
Cartography has mostly fallen to the way side as the world is running low on new land yet to be marked down. But The Guild masters were smart. Tough map making has become less and less needed. People to journey and explore those maps has exploded in popularity and as connections are made through out the world, a new age of guides, travel and postage begins.

The Guild is known as possibly the largest for adventurers. With several branch groups coming under is banner. The Guild offers solid, consistent work to those who want it as well as forging connections with leaders and governments. Keeping their ears to the floor for new dungeons, new monsters and other adventures to be undertaken. Many adventures work as couriers. Taking desired packages from one spot to the other. Although its not as exciting as a quest to save the kingdom it lets adventures do what they do best while getting a guaranteed pay check at the end, Leaving them in a new location where they may find new stories to uncover.

Official Job Boards
Many Job boards are maintained by the guild. Anyone can post a physical notice on this boards but people are also able to pay a small fee and have their commission job posted on all nearby available boards under the Guild's control. towns, cities or even whole nations over depending on how much of the fee you are willing to pay, the more gold the further the reach.

As people explored maps were made. Cartographers are an odd breed of personalities, Sturdy enough to brave some of the most harsh environments while also introverted enough to seek the wilderness over busy streets.

The Association has been around for thousands of years in varying capacities.

From its initial creation to the varies booms of cartography when new lands were discovered the group has managed to stay productive thanks to forward thinking. dipping into the postal service in several locations.

With several members constantly surveying the land for changes and alterations the maps sold by the association are the most current correct maps on the market.

They offer everything from large world maps, Regional maps, Cave systems, Dungeons to more distinguished maps with different binding, higher quality materials or frames and even various magic maps such as Living Tapestry.

Postage Era
Though the world of Felwind is filled with Arcane magic able to send and receive messages and items almost instantly, these options are not available to most citizens. Reserved for spellcasters of appropriate expertise.
As the world became more and more defined those charting maps had less and less work. The Guild saw this eventuality and so began taking steps to start up other services. One of them being a postage service.

Today the Guild holds a very positive presence in all of Felwind with major keeps in most major settlements and minor ones spread out to some corners of the map. Though their reach is far their presence is small. With no major seats of power in any official capacity they are still at the end of the day an Adventuring guild, some call them a glorified mercenary group.

Map Masters

Though it was the progenitor of the Guild, Map Masters are the smallest section of MMAP, But not lacking in skill and power. Many members of this section are veteran explorers holding their own personal secrets in the world. Aside from recon and updating maps they act as guides to customers looking for something much harder to locate.

Gemstone Band

The Gemstone Band is the face child of the Guild. Its what most people know as a Guild section for adventures. Not only guild members but outsiders too. Anyone willing can approach a Gemstone Band estate and be able to browse the commissioned quests available or join in the Guild Tavern. Guild Members have far more exclusive access to these estates but outsiders are always welcomed to explore the surface of what MMAP has to offer.

Note-Worthy Bards

The Note-Worthy Bards, A Section of MMAP Dedicated to the musical talents of Bard's and other performers alike. Performers such as Bards often work in two different lines of work as adventures and entertainers. This section allows Bards ease of contact to both adventuring parties and venues for shows.

The Note-Worthy was created for performers by performers, Its hard to find any adventuring Bard that isn't part of the guild. it offers connections, status and a solid source of income.

Flight-Foot Couriers

The Section of MMAP responsible for all the Courier, Postal and guide work that the Guild undertakes.

Unique creatures that nobody is sure what they look like. They are mostly invisible to all creatures save a few exceptions. Creatures of Arcane based off the spell “Gaulder's Speedy Courier”


The guild being international has locations built all over the world and is only expanding. There are some massive Guild halls located in capital cities and more humble Guild houses or taverns for more isolated areas.

Its Not uncommon to see different branches of the Guild have separate buildings but will often be close in proximity.

Members of the guild have access to any Guild location no matter the section they belong too.

Couriers Room
Every Guild location has special access to he postage section. Couriers under the Guild's name normally have a special magical Key given to them once they have reached a certain rank within the guild. This allows them their own private room that can be accessed at any Guild location as a pocket dimension of sorts. The room can be freely customised by the owner and is theirs until they are no longer a guild member.

Guild Masters

Band of the Black Albatross
A Mercenary army that falls under M.M.A.P's loyalty. Though thier work falls outside the typical scope of the Guild, The Leader of this 'Band' is good friends with one of MMAP's Guild Masters.

A Yong Adventuring group of three. Officially recognised in the year XXXX

Band of the Black Albatross

Not an official section of the uild but due to the large number of this mercenary army it has been Un-officially considered a sudo-section. Black Albatross is a mercenary army group. a rather odd fitting to the guild but one of the Guild masters is good friends with the leader of this group.

After the events of Whispers of the Wilds the Black Albertross was unwillingly dissolved. with the death of all higher ranking embers in the feywild the remaining mercenaries quickly fell apart and either perished or vanished. Though no official statement was made as they were never officially part of the M.M.A.P Guild to begin with.
