Quick Save

  • it takes 10 Minuets to read this scroll to activate it. Once activated it turns to dust and the dust is erased from existence. Only then will the reader feel the world around them shift as a snapshot is taken.
For the next minuet the reader can say the command word to return the universe to the state it was in when the snap shot was taken.
If the command word is not said and a minuet passes then the scroll's effect fades.

Only the reader and their equipment is able to return to a previous snap shot, as well as any items they may obtain during the minuet phase. meaning the reader can pick up an item during the minuet phase then return to the snap shot having the item they took reappear in its original location at the point of the Snap-Shot while retaining the same item in their hand/inventory, effectively duplicated the item.

This blatant disregard for the laws of the universe and insult to creation itself causes the reader to suffer immense pain at the end of the minuet phase or if they end it early with the command word. As the collapsing and rebuilding of the universe centers on the reader they take 20 D10 Force damage that bypasses resistances.

A Scroll of golden parchment and blackest ink. Scrawled upon this massive scroll is a spell far more powerful than normal mortals are able to conjure, Understand and even control. Yet as a Scroll even the most basic of spellcasters are able to follow instructions.
The Scroll is utter gibberish mostly, meaning it cannot be memorized, copied or otherwise replicated. The Scroll being written by a power of the Gods or even higher. yet as you begin to read they make some sense enough to activate the scroll.

There are spells far more powerful than what mortals can hope to attain in a lifetime. The Gods long ago after the Spell-Plauge wove rules into the arcane weave so mortals could never again wield its un-restricted power. Limits were placed upon the mortal souls would manipulate the weave and nothing save a re-write of the laws of the universe would alter these rules. That doesn't stop them from trying.
