RedKiln

The most northern settlement in all of Reton, Redkiln is a highly religious town with many strange customs and even stranger residents.

The town's leadership has been in constant debate ever since the end of the Ashlem War between the mayor and the Temple Priest. The Township cannot seem to agree and the town being so isolated the Dukes in its charge haven't the care or the resources to keep it under-control.
Although the leadership roles are still in conflict there has not been any physical disagreements, yet. The town is in a tense air with a delicate balance, small back and forths between the Mayor and the priest have created a sense of anxiety over the town.

Slowly, more townsfolk are becoming members of the temple, and all 'Non-believers' have been forbidden from entry to the holy ground. Many residents wish to leave entirely yet, despite not any proof they fear punishment will find them should they vacate the town.

Entering the town you find there to be a much heavier presence of Guards than you would expect in a town so far isolated.
Despite being on the coast the land drops to a shear cliff. no beach in sight just the waves of the sea crashing against jagged rocks. Most of the trip was uphill you realise, so you area fair few hundred feet above sea level.
The wind is strong like a typical sea breeze but it does not carry whispers of fishing and freedom rather paranoia and sickness. Much of the town's roads are muddy, in need of maintenance but the homes and buildings are sturdy. Standing strong against a bitter wind.

a sturdy building that was once full of hearty occasions for people to enjoy themselves. Today there is an air of sickness and anxiety. Many customers here seem to sit alone. Drinking slow and quietly.

Inn

Highly likely for settlements on well travelled roads. In smaller areas the In is usually party of a tavern. In larger towns and cities there is guaranteed to be one or multiple Inns available with varying levels of quality. Some may offer a bath house. some offer in house cleaning of cloths and equipment.

All smiths are able to carry out basic repairs and forge basic equipment but for more advanced services such as refinement, enchanting or upgrades or special materials you may need to check with the towns smith if they are capable of more advanced work.

Defaced Temple

Its unknown who the temple was originally built for. It was defaced long ago during the ashlem war when te town was attacked. Yet the priest then and the priest now have refused any attempts to repair the temple and bare many from stepping on the temple grounds without their say.
