A bit about Ravi's Design History
Ravi I would consider my most important character. She is what started my love of character design.
she used to be quite dramatically different in her first iteration. a male and a lot less furry but through a gender swap and species swap her color pallet and core design ideas have always remained the same.
my original inspiration for Ravi began when I started playing Kingdom Hearts 2 i had never herd of the Kingdom hearts series before I saw an advertisement for the sequel on tv. saving up pocket money I managed to buy it.
There is a huge story about my time with Kingdom Hearts how i skipped all the cutsenes because we were only allowed 30mins turn on the PS2, how I missed quite a large part of the game because my brother played through several worlds without me.

The specific inspiration was the Valour Drive Form Sora obtains near the beginning of the game. Red and two swords. these were the design ideas that stuck with me.
Ravi was still a ways off her first drawing but I had plans. pretending to play with sticks as swords in the backyard, even then I was forming different characters I could play with different abilities. I remember the curse mark from Naruto playing a big part of my designs back then.
It wasn't until I was watching Avatar: the last airbender and saw Ject, this cool guy with two swords. not only were they swords but they had hooks on them! I thought that was incredibly unique and cool.
And so soon after I drew Ravi for the very first time. I was 10 at the time and my experience with art was limited to metal sonic and slifer the sky dragon. Ravi was indeed a boy by the name of Deltris when he was first created, I remember getting the eyes tilted by accident so he always looked sad.
But he was my character. I showed off this one drawing to a few of my friends.

i wouldn't give Deltris/Ravi another proper design until I got my first computer, where which the very first picture I drew was a torso up of them. things quickly snowballed as I had quite a few character ideas at this point and they were all being created.

There is a lot to talk about from this point involving my first experiences with RP on deviant art, which lead to me meeting the lady who is now my wife. lots of cringe lots of sappy romance. and this is why I consider Ravi my most important character.

But why furry?
I do not know the exact point where Anthropomorphic character design seeded in my brain, if I had to make a guess it would have stemmed for my love of dragons but its not really important.
I gave Ravi some fox ears and tail and it grew from there after I gave Deltris a gender swap.
things such as her werewolf form and running a shop were just ideas that were applied and stuck well. i have always been a fan of transformation in character design so it made sense that it would be applied to Ravi.
The newest part of her design is her name, Ravi has only been her name for about a year or so. the previous name Delta always egged me as a bit juvenile and edgy.

There are lots of points I missed here such as being a shorty and the dark complexion, that part specifically needs a good going over as I think its important. I will add more to this at a later date.
