Astral Monastery

Type Monk Monastery

A relatively new Monastery compared to the other Monk's Monasteries, Located in the South-West corner of ​Luna Valley in the side of a mountain, built into it high above sea level. the location barely gets any direct sunlight through the day.
It is here Monks train to master the Astral energy around and within themselves.

The temple is far away from most other civilization but is well known to many. the journey to the temple keeps most sticky beaks away, it is long and tough, not for the average hiker, only the most devoted make the journey….or the very lost.

Destruction
The temple today lies mostly in ruins. the stories say that a raging black demon rampaged through the monastery.
perhaps some corrupted Astral being, or one of the Monk's giving into corrupted Ki. What ever the cause was, the culprit was never found, the Monastery is still occupied and going through repairs, or at least patch work.

Residents
Less than 100 Monks called this monastery home even before its destruction. they are kind and wise but a general lack of people skills was shared between most. the Monastery also plays residence to one or two druids, being so remote it is the prefect place for many druids to come and study while having protection.
weary or lost travelers find there way to the monastery also, a small stall is run by the monks to sell a variety of simple traveling supplies, they offer water and a place to sleep for free and will gladly treat any wounds or sickness to those of decent and kind.
