Baruo Loredsten

Born and raised in the Promised Archipelago Baruo is a arcane tinkerer by trade. Spending quite a considerable time hoeing his craft on the islands and is responsible for most maintained of the various arcane contraptions on the west side of the archipelago.

He would often swap stories with others living or visiting the archipelago. his favorite pass time is collecting and sharing stories to those he meets.

A simple soul with simple desires. its only recently that his desire has rested outside the Archipelago. the idea of more places to see and more stories to learn. He aims to travel to the main-land of Ostrov.

Baruo takes pride in his trade, crafting gear and weapons to suite the various adventures that come through. working slow but methodical every piece is made just a bit unique. As an Artificer weaving magic into the equipment he crafts comes naturally. he is known around the islands for crafting bags of holding and other helpful items, For a fee of course.

Baruo is a huge fan of paintings. canvas arts draw his imagination being able to put backdrops to the various stories he has. Unable to paint nearly as well as he likes some of his coin goes to commissioning artists. He is very particular with commissions, often asking for various edits to have it as close to how he pictured it. often feeling he is too pushy or asking too much leading to future commission requests being hesitated on.
He often likes to engrave the metal he smiths in an attempt to add some artistic flair.

Baruo doesn't know his family, only the other Tortles he grew up with. Its unknown what exactly happened to Mother and Father but it seems nobody knew for sure. the thoughts today sit deep in the back of his mind. not worried about.

He enjoys the peace of the islands especially at night. the creatures and monsters don't bother him too much. more than capable of fending off the odd dire wolf or stray Wight. Often a camp fire illuminates his front yard. Any weary travelers are welcome to stay for a price.

Baruo has been smiting for a number of years. most of his life, Even before he was considered mature. Hammering away at hot metal, Stitching together tough leather its almost all he has ever known. Making fair wage not enough to live in luxury but enough not having to worry about finances.

Stories of Stories
I tell many stories, I tell stories of the stories I know, Visitors share their stories with me and I tell others of their stories. not all have happy endings but enough to keep happiness high.

Painful Customers
Customers come, pay coin, receive items. That's how it should be. Some do not think, Want to argue and Demand more. My firearm silences their annoying yelping.

The Future of Arcane
I get questioned a lot by other practitioners of magic. will this arcane technology overtake our current ways of using arcane? Not in my lifetime at least.

Part Time Healer
Many people of the Islands came to me for help, Assistance, I am well versed with healing and wounds. many have been helped by my hand but not all can be saved
