Winter's Breath
While attuned to Blizzard's Bite, You can use a bonus action and consume a charge to activate Winter's Breath. Until the end of your turn you gain the following benefits.

• The cold damage increases to 1d8.
• During your turn if a creature is hit 2 times or more with this weapon ice begins to cover the target. At the end of your turn the target must make a Strength Saving Throw¹⁾.
  On a failed save, the target becomes restrained as ice forms on the target.\ Creatures Huge or larger require 3 Hits or more to trigger this effect.
• Creatures such as fire elementals or those that have resistance/immunity to cold damage are unaffected by this effect.
  

Blizzard's Bite has a number of charges equal to your proficiency bonus, you regain all expended charges each day at dusk.

Blizzard's Bite is a rugged and violent weapon, with an twisting, rough cedar wood handle and a cold serrated blade that is almost akin to frosted glass. It has been seen crafted as both a Long-Sword and Battle-Axe, There is no confirmation if the weapons are a pair, or it changes shape.

As violent as the blizzard and equally as intimidating, the blade seems to be made of enchanted glass meaning this weapon was crafted by no normal smith. It bares no signature and none claim its origin. Rumours say it is a cursed blade created by the howling unforgiving blizzards, others seem to suggest it is not of the mortal plane and came from a the giants in the elemental plane of ice. What ever its true history the blade is a worth companion for any skilled warrior. Most remember the name of this weapon as Frostbite However there was too much confusion with the ailment and spell of the same name, so its name was changed to Blizzard's Bite.
