The Serpent Empress has been around since Age of Expansion. A Great Serpent Yuan-Ti even in her young years, She would soon come into ownership of a Stronghold Library of Mystery and fate known as Fate's Weave.

From here her knowledge and power would grow along with her physical size. eventually coming into enough power to take up the title of Fathomless.

The Serpent empress also hold a Defacto Seat withing the Domain of Fate but due to the pregidous of the Gods within the Patheon, Those who sit at the Domain of Fate are not recognised as true Gods.

Elisia offers knowledge to her followers in varying degrees and in tern they pay her with living sacrifices.

Its rumoured that she is able to change ones fate. Those that may be bound by fate can request it be changed into something more desirable. or those wishing to have fate can gain one to their desires. But these always have unknown hardships.

Much of her time before holding the title of Fathomless is rather mundane or otherwise unknown. A being in the early years of the cosmology had plenty of opportunity for growth, power and ascension. and Elisia by simply being the one available to own Fate's Weave became in line to obtain power enough for ascension.

Elisia has spent many millennia within her stronghold studying and collecting all kinds of books, parchment, scrolls, tablets and other written mediums. It was these early years that her influence upon the world was minimal. Her passive effects keeping fate mostly intact and under control were enough to hold the realms together for a majority of history.

During this time the Fathomless Serpent Empress would capture several creatures for experimentation, Dragging groups of various races to craft a new species of slaves that would be bound to her and her library. Many attempts were made with most failing however after enough trials and time she would eventually make the Sub-Species of Gnome known as Scribe Gnomes.
These Gnomes would become intertwined with the Serpent Empress and her Library. Although born as slaves their time and work is paid for and their needs and satisfied yet they still do not have a choice other than to serve. Few rare occasions have Scribe Gnomes made a deal with the Serpent Empress for their freedom beyond her power.

Not until the most recent centuries has the Fathomless Serpent Empress become more active in the realms.

Her following mostly consists of the Goblins in Promise though as her influence slowly grows other more intelligent people have begun to follow her teachings.

Temples
Fair few makeshift “Temples” have been built around the Promised archipelago by the goblins. Though they are temples in name there are more just sacred grounds. Walls and various pillars of stone but no true floor or roof. The Symbol of the Serpent empress painted all over.

Other Notable
The Serpent Empress has had a daughter. Although she is held in high regard as a religious symbol the Daughter was less than keen to play along and left the Archipelago when she came of age.
