Safeharbor
Fishing Town
Overview
The most northern settlement within Oxtrad's borders and the most northern in all of Mor-Thir. A fishing town known for being incredible isolated. The weather here is dark and Gloomy with a lot of Safehabor's citizens being similarly gloomy to visitors.
The towns main work is fishing and other sea faring tasks, At least on the books. Many ships that dock at this harbour go unreported and unquestioned, their cargo and crew likewise a mystery to anyone outside earshot. The shady tasks and events that go on in Safeharbor are well known in the underground yet the place is so far isolated that the effort required to bring the town back in-line with the law has proven too high of a resource cost.
Fishing in these waters is not for the faint of heart. The sea life here can be otherworldly and the fog is thick. Many sailors telling of visions they see. hopelessly lost ships stuck in the fog forever trying to find shore, Wails of those who lost their lifes in these dark waters and the things lurking beneath. These are the stories of the sailors who come back. of the ones who don't well only those lurking beneath the water know those tales.
One of the biggest pins In the town is the Redgull Fishery Most money flows through them and so does the influence. They keep the town running mostly.
