Sacrificial Critical

• Before an attack you can roll one of your hit dice and take damage equal to the roll. Your next attack against a target is automatically a critical hit. you loose the use of that hit dice as if you had spent it until you finish a long rest.

Countdown

• Landing three critical hits on a single target initiates Extinction. The target must make a Charisma saving throw then a Wisdom saving through immediately after (DC=15+Total damage taken from critical hits), Failing either of these rolls The target's soul is erased from reality and beyond with no hope of revival or return. The target dies as the aberration of the Old God Nyala gentle reaches into the target and removes its soul, swallowing it into its dark body.
  • This effect bypasses Legendary resistance.
  • The soul has no chance to return to a phylactery or similar item.
  • Creatures without a soul (Constructs) are immune from this effect.

Payment

• For each creature consumed with Extinction (As seen above) the wielder of the dagger's life span is halved and they suffer 2 levels of exhaustion.

Closer to a short sword than a dagger. this weapon has a round cylindrical nail as its blade useless for cutting and half decent at piercing. The nail is slightly worn with minor damage.
The blade is not magnetic despite being metal and is unable to be destroyed by normal means.
There are no discernable markings at all yet the weapon radiates death as if being near it is the cardinal sin.
