Group managed to retrieve a powerful hand once belonging to a powerful Lich known as Narkul the Great Collector, Currently Narkul has been banished to an unknown plane of existance but a cult has formed set on bringing Narkul back into the material plane with planes to use an undead army to take over as much as the world as possible in pursuit of the most powerful items and beings.

Although the hand was in Ironhide's (Alex) possession it was stolen by Teo (Sam J) and sold to the cult of Narkul who are starting to cause chaos by opening portals and rifts to the far realm a chaotic duplicate of the material plane.

As of latest events, the group has two primary leads. Teo is owed a favour by the cult for giving them the hand hoping to use this to find the main base of operations or set up a meeting with important figures of the cult. The second is a human called Adah and a kenku called Temple who also heard rumours of the cult and are trying to find and track the location of the final fight Narkul had before being banished

Around 40 years before the start of the campaign a powerful alliance known as the Royal Conglomerate took over the Reton Empire and introduced the outlawed races (Tieflings, Dragonborn, Dialias, Aasimar, and Changlings) this drove most out of the country but others went into hiding mainly in the Greyhawk Forest and the Eroded Archipelago regions in the south of Reton.

Teo (Sam J) came into possession of a mysterious dagger which is inhabited by an unknown being that provide the names of 6 Royals, one of which his first and only kill so far was Duke Federic Rollo of Whitkin who managed Greyhawk and dedicated a lot of time hiding outlawed races within the region keeping them off the records so the King, Lords and other Dukes couldn't move their troops into Greyhawk and cleanse the region but after his death news spread quickly and currently there is a large military forces gathering 7 days north of Greyhawk preparing to march south within a few days

There is much unease within Greyhawk as many outlawed races either flee from the region, go into hiding or the brave few begin to prepare to defend their home.

Introduction: 3 weeks ago Duke Federic Rollo of Greyhawk was assassinated in the city of Whitkin, where you all currently are. Federic devoted much of his life making sure outlawed races of the Reton Empire; Tieflings, Dragonborn, Dialias, Aasimar, and Changlings were kept off the records to create a safe haven in Reton, it's either unknown or not public knowledge of who and why someone killed the Duke but with his death it gave the Empire enough power and reason to start marching the military into Greyhawk.

When news of the gathering army spread 2 weeks ago many outlawed living in Greyhawk started to flee or going into hiding, a few days ago a new Duke was appointed by Duke Myghell Rollo of Mulburg, Federic's older brother and Lord Oddo Rand the Honorable who watches over Greyhawk, Mulburg and the Hollow Cliffs. The new Duke of Greyhawk is Thomas Rollo, Federic's only son an 18 year old who started learning from his farther, it is unclear what Thomas' stance on the outlawed races is or if he's able to stop the army.

We start our story just as the sun is setting over Whitkin in the Sunken Alehouse Inn a building that was built on soft ground by the shoreline and had fell into the water but was recovered and now held back by long ropes tied around a nearby stone watchtower.
