Giant

Return to Cultures
Description

Giants are one of the most ancient of races in Mor-Thir. Legends speak of the great lands they pulled across the Ocean with ropes made of nothing but their pure will.

Weather these legends are true or not may never be know. Giants have all seemingly vanished into the lands and oceans of Mor-Thir. Tablets and glyphs speak of a great battle that left many giants dead.

They crossed the ocean, Bringing this great land with them, over time we forgot this and so fought our creators. After the bloodshed the giants sunk back into the ocean never to be seen again

Very few of the Giants remain in Mor-Thir, the last commonly known Giants were in Nabilhime, but just before the Trio invaded the Giants left. Vanishing in the night.

Giants were known mostly for their master craftsmenship. Whatever they forged was far more powerful and advanced then anything mortal man has attempted.

The great gates of Nabelhime.
The Magnificent Sea Spire
The Catacombs of Corvania

All these structures built by the giants during there reign.

But probably their proudest achivment was weaving life into steel. The creation of the war forged.

Most Giants hail from the western lands of Felwind.

Storm Giants

Cloud Giants
The last of the Cloud giants moved to the elemental plane of Air. There they travelled further still and built their great cloud city known as Heilbrin. (high-L-brr-In)

Fire Giants
The last known fire giants were forging in the great fortress city of Nabilhime before it was invaded.

Stone Giants
Stone Giants lived far bellow the ground on the edges of the underDark. They originated in Mor-Thir unlike many of there breatheren.
tales say that it was the stone giants that forced the great behemoths of Oxtrad into the under dark.

Woodland Giants

Giants are all but legends during the present day. Most think of them as fairy tales but if you travel to the dense tundra forests of Oxtrad you may think differently.

Although the Giants seem to be gone their craft certainly isn't. Some great structures they built still stand to this day. And even there teachings passed down to mortal smiths through generations and/or old tablets deciphered.

There living creation, war forged still wander Mor-Thir.
