History
Pre-Campaign
Razar, the Loxodon Druid of Circles of Dreams, was born with a strange intuition. Most of the time it guided his people well, leading them to plentiful sources of fruit for the harvest. Yet whenever Razar tried to explain his wisdom, he was silenced. The others said there was something strange about him, like the old tales which told of dreamers and seers - and so they kept him isolated, just as their culture commanded.
However, his dreams often troubled him. He often saw visions of a place beyond - an idyllic land of sparkling sunlight, clear air, and gentle creatures. He began to believe this place must exist, and his curiosity drove him to leave his people to seek it out.
One night, Razar had a most vivid, strange dream. He saw a tragedy unfold in a strange realm, one full of faeries, sprites, and magics. Troubled, he knew he must journey to it, and so, with the blessing of his people, he set off across the world with but a few possessions.
Held in the hands of fate, he came upon the faerie realm of his dream, a realm where he could study and learn. He was enchanted by its beauty, and reveled in its secrets - the mysteries of the elements, the ancestral bonds of animals, and the mysteries of the Feywild. He learned quickly, and the dread of his dream was forgotten for a while.
Yet Razar was fated to remember - as his new druidic powers grew, so did his vision. He saw the tragedy of his dream before it came, and he could do nothing to avert it - but he could warn the people. In time, with the aid of the Fey, and his own spells, he was able to save his new friends from mostly certain disaster.
Razar now stands at the edge of his dream, learning and teaching - his path illuminated with the knowledge gained from his inner sight. Though he is still haunted by the tragedy that almost befell his friends, he draws hope from knowing that with the right will and the right magical power, even the darkest of visions can be warded away.
