Introduction
The Un-Seelie Fey Mordica is a quiet woman often keeping to herself in the shadows of dark forests. known as a Wendigo in Fey Folklore she has always been kept away from public eyes. Her monstrous appearance contrasts her very cheerful and positive personality.
Most would see her as a beast to be hunted meaning she learned quickly to keep to the darkness, out of sight.
She has a natural ability to speak with plants and animals requiring no arcane weaving. None of the wildlife or farm animals she encounters ever seemed scared of her. Being very Intune with the domain of nature she as experienced glimpses of enlightment from the wild mother
The Origins of her birth relate to a deal made with a powerful Un-Seelie Fey. Nothing major or event defining, A New farm was requested and the payment was to carry, birth and mother the dealer's child.
Raised on an Apple farm by two mothers her childhood is fondly remembered. Mordica still technically lives at home due to her mothers refusing to admit she ever moved out.
Upon reaching adult hood of a typical humanoid species. Mordica had grown to be quite the monstrous lady. Far to big to fit inside the old family home anymore she expressed her desire to leave home and make her own mark. both Ray and Maple both disagreed and instead sorted out getting a more suitably sized building for Mordica put on their family farm. This wasn't enough though as the itch for adventure had already taken root.
Only a few moths later after constant debate Mordica was finally given the blessing by her mothers to leave home, Though it was never treated as her 'Leaving' but rather an extended holiday away from home. At least that's how her parents saw it, Mordica however was ready to taste her own adventure.
Early after leaving home her first interaction with the outside world was a merchant caravan being escorted to LOCATIONNAME, Mordica's Mothers had always taught her that she was different and that it was best to keep herself reserved and her appearance hidden.
“its not because you are ugly my dear sweet, its cause well you have quite the scary first impression. b but don’t worry you will find someone who is really into that.. .. one day”
but her first opportunity to interact with others outside the forest & Farm animals, her Mothers and the occasional customer?! She was giddy with excitement and unable to pass up such an event.
It ended in bloodbath, That day she learned of her incredible power and was rather horrified by it. As well, learning she had a rather sore spot for being called or treated as a common beast to be killed out of fear or misunderstanding. Mordica left that caravan and pile of bodies behind and decided to keep to the forests when traveling rather than the roads in future.
Mordica is a quiet creature letting music fill her aura rather than words. Old music with the sounds of wood and stone. With lessons from her Mother she has learned to play the violin.
Her mind is filled with conversations while the forest sings peacefully with wind and life.
History & Origins
Origins
One of the oldest depictions of Un-Seelie Fey Mordica is known in Feywild Folklore as a Wendigo. A creature typically born when a Sellie-Fey is turned to an Un-Seelie-Fey, By Corruption, Curse or other unknown means. Normally forest dwelling Fey such as Dryads or Changlina.
Though Mordica was not turned, Rather born as a Wendigo. A Daughter to the one called Shadow Dealer. Her existence was the payment for a deal between Shadow Dealer and a not-so-humble apple farmer.
Being born as she was Mordica knows no other life. While Wendigo are often filled with remorse and regret for their previous life, Mordica is rather cheerful and positive, Stark contrast to her appearance.
Thanks; I no small part, to her loving mothers. Who have always treated her as any other daughter would be. Her childhood was full of joyas memories and unforgettable events.
Old stories tell of a maiden chosen by the gods to take on an important task. A young fawn with devotion strong, she gave herself to the gods, molded and rebirthed as a great beast of beauty and strength. there she was tasked to guard the forests of the Fey-wilds against anything that would do it harm.
A guardian of the forest, cleanse and hunt any corrupted souls who may wander too far.
As with any being; who's duty was to fight corruption they too will be corrupted, Mordica a beast of beauty turned vile, etched with veins of sickness and corruption, mutated and warped beyond memory.
History

Bond with Mother
The Fey-Wilds War
King Magnus was of the cruellest of tricksters you could imagine, every word spoken would be left defiled by his twisted vision of entertainment and justice. The trees ever speaking of his iron rule over the “Thorn Throne.” The war that took place between the two nations was mostly ignored by me and the trees, Those soldiers who braved my Dark woods never saw the light again. It took everyone by surprise when the instigators were in-fact Magnus's children, A twist the trees never seem to tire of. No the Throne remains empty with no one strong enough to claim it. Mother says that style of hierarchy is very similar to her home land, Who ever would take the throne will lead the nation down a road of prosperity or twisted revenge, as she once did.“
